There are currently two ways to restock:

1 - Restock fitting, which restocks every item X amount of times.
2 - Restock individual item while editing fitting.

Unfortunately option #1 is kind of useless because I eventually end up having enough of one or more items, so in order to save ISK I always do option #2 which takes a bunch of time.

I want a "smart restock" option that restocks all your fittings to a particular stock number. So lets say I have the following fittings:

 Logi Drop Links
 Logi Reps
 Scout Runner

I can set a restock number on each of these:

 20 Logi Drop Links
 20 Logi Reps
 10 Scout Runner

And the "smart restock" would restock items to get these fittings up to the preferred stock of each fitting. If a module is used in more than one fitting it should be restocked to allow each fitting to be used that many times. For example if I used 1 Enhanced Armor Plate on my "Logi Drop Links" fitting and 2 on my "Logi Reps" then the smart restock should keep 60 Enhanced Armor plates.

You should also be able to order fittings by preference so your highest preferred fittings will always be restocked ahead of your lowest preferred fittings.

The goal of this would be to press "restock" once for all your fittings and eliminate something that many of us do manually.

It would also be helpful to show what each fitting costs in the list (in thousands, so 50,000 would show as 50k). I already do this manually in the name. This helps when choosing a fitting during battle to somewhat keep a running tally of how much you're spending. Keeps you spending money you don't want to spend.

Was just thinking this exact thing about the restocking. Definitely a great a idea (and a time saver).

That is how it used to work in Beta. I don't know how far back exactly.

I suspect the reason it doesn't is because of AUR and now LP purchases not being noticed in the heat of the moment. There have been many posts requesting the return and it has never appear nor been acknowledged as an idea much less a great one. So, don't hole your breath.

And the time delay for buying gear is tied to EVE and its database being only so fast. What that means exactly, I have no idea. But EVE is the reason we get the 'cannot make a purchase for 57 seconds' messages.

I like the idea but prefer a simpler method.
The first option, "Restock Fitting", should only restock items you have zero of.
