What is the point of not giving alts on the same account passive SP when most people create them on different PSN accounts? The only reason I can come up with is it's a way for CCP to make money. Characters on the same account share AURUM, so in order to have an alt without hinderance you have to forfeit that and buy AURUM again on the alt. But the reality is I would never buy AURUM on my alt.

The only reason why I even created an alt is because at some point I felt that I spread my SP too thin. I use the alt as a test character to try things out before I waist the SP on my main.

(A battle simulator would eliminate my reason for having an alt at all)

That was commented on by a developer sometime ago. It was commented on as a bug and that it should/would(?) be fixed.

It hasn't been fixed yet. One might suspect they are working on other projects.

You know. If they got it done relatively quickly and I could have at least 6 months worth of passives then I want this. But if it is going to be done 2 months before the game ends then I don't care for it.

I also spell checked your post.

Why for free? In EVE Online you have to PLEX or pay another monthly subscription to get 2 characters to train their skills simultaneously even if they are on the same account.

If they do implement this system in Dust (or Legion) then it should be on those same grounds. You either earn **** tons of isks for your secondary toon to train, or you purchase a one month training pack.

As for the whole 'battle simulator to eliminate the need for alts'. I have 2 alts. A Logi and a Scout. The reason I have them is because I'm concentrating on just my heavy/sentinel skills with this toon. Spending my SP on being a logi or a scout would actually be a waste on this toon. That is why I have my alts.

In EVE you would have alts for mining, pvp, or even to perform corporate espionage (which is LEGAL and not a bannable offense in EVE). Alts offer more than just trying out certain gear or FOTM ****.

The point of alts on your main account is for trolling the forums. The point of alts on your other 4 PSN accounts is to collect passive SP and try stuff out. You're doing it wrong.

But a passive booster for your alt. Now you have 2 passive characters.

Because EVE you pay for the character slots. So you're buying one primary and two additional. But in DUST, you can just create multiple accounts with multiple primary characters.

Or, create a second PSN account for free. And then get even MORE passive skill points when you put a booster on top of that.

As far as I'm aware, multiple accounts doesn't breach the EULA.

Unless I'm mistaken that means only 1 account per system unless you ask CCP.
