Definitely get almost everything in Dropsuit upgrades to level 3 and don't bother running proto with only advanced and basic gear because you are definitely not getting everything out of it and I'd imagine you have tons of pg/cpu left over. Run advanced logi I think and you'll save a lot more ISK and can still be a great logi. |

Also get Dropsuit Electronics and Dropsuit Engeneering to at least level 3 because the extra CPU/PG definitely helps out. |

I agree that you shouldn't run proto yet. You should spend a little more on you armor repairing and shields for one thing. You could fit this on a STD suit and only move up when you just can't fit it anymore. Is all your equipment at Level 4? Why militia nanohives?
Because, that's why.

The earlier replies are correct for sure but... For a comprehensive approach to building a Logi, see the following forum post, "The Logi Code. Guide to Logi Success." :
https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=79304
The guide was last updated for Uprising 1.7 but it still is quite valuable and you are still early enough in the development of your skill tree to apply much of what it has to offer... This is great information not only for the Logi but for all roles...
Be just and if you can't be just be arbitrary.

Min Logi love!
You need to work on your survivability. You're using the second lowest eHP suit in the game. Armor and shield upgrades asap, 5% per level to your total HP pool. Shield extension 5 for the only viable extenders. Don't brick tank yourself, and slap some armor repair or repair plates on.
You're a Min Logi! Get your rep tool game up! At level 3, the BDR-8 becomes as good as a proto rep tool, since you already are getting the max bonus from lvl 5 Min Logi.
Drop Uplink lvl 3 is needed for the better uplinks, but if SP is scarce, then lvl 2 at the very least. The stable uplinks will save you a bunch of CPU and PG until you can save up for Core Upgrade Electronics and Engineering.
Nanocircuitry lvl 3 at least as well. It's almost required due to the nerf of nanohives. Get to lvl 4 for the rep hives. Rep hives and a rep tool ona Min Logi = a repping machine!
As others have said, a proto suit is pointless if you can't fit it right.

I agree that you are selling the suit short. Drop down to the advanced suit for a while until you get the SP built up. The cost alone would be worth it. |

Some good advice in this thread so far; I'll chime in with a few more points to consider mostly regarding your risk vs reward management on the field.
Risk vs reward scaling in equipment is in some cases inverted (more info) so to maximize your gain moving forward, especially with a Min Logi, Rep Tool up until you can lock to targets then stop there, use your best links but don't prioritize them as they are CPU/PG hungry, get a repairing nanohive, use the [b]Basic[/]b or Militia injector and do not revive within live fire zones.
Stepping down too a lower meta suit until you have proto shield and armor skills is worth considering, if so make two fittings one with uplinks and one with nanohives. You can alternate between them and still provide general utility. On a Min logi speed and awareness matter a great deal so make sure you're also investing into the mobility and passive scan skills within Dropsuit Command. Further if you find yourself hacking somewhat consistently get the hacking skill up (after your HP) because that extra time saved can save your life as well.
If you'd like to run a few pickup games and compare notes feel free to look me up in game on this character, I've been support Logi since closed beta and am happy to help out my fellow LogiBros
Cheers, Cross

Not sure if this even applies to Min Logi now that 1.8 turned it into a rep tool beast, but...
Minmatar are the fastest. Speed is your ally. You're only at level 3 armor plates so it's not too late to switch to shields, which have no movement penalty.
I used to be a Min Logi for a long time but I switched out of it with the respec when 1.8 came out. And one of my biggest mistakes was focusing on armor HP instead of speed.
But I don't know if the speed logi is useful anymore, especially if you want to survive while repping a heavy. If it is then you can find cardiac regulators and kinetic catalyzers in the Biotics tree in Dropsuit Upgrades.
I never wanted to use the rep tool because I'd rather shoot people, and to this day I still don't because I'm a Gal Logi now.

First suit out
Adv Min Logi
Six Kin Triage tool R-9 50% sticker
BK-42 Flux grenades
Two Enhanced Plates Complex repper
Whatever I can fit for shields in the left
Second suit is the same except I run K-2's instead of uplinks. I also have a suit set up with a core focused repper. If the uplinks go out, swap back and drop more.
As a side note, all core skills are level 5, CPU/PG are five, proficiency 3 in ACR, all other skills for ACR are 3.
I will probably catch grief for this but if your nano hives are up a suit with nothing but hives, preferably reppers, and dump them around an objective, or where heavies are hiding from fire. They can help you stay alive as the heavy steps out. If the heavy runs out into the open, stay hidden until your rep range is used up then he's on his own.
