YMMV. Also, you'll find that Nvidia vs AMD is kinda like Sony vs Microsoft. There are rediculous fanboys on both sides. You will be fine with either company in terms of graphics cards.

It's like intel Vs. AMD Nvidia OBVIOUSLY has the better hardware, for those willing to throw them their cash with a pitchfork. AMD gets you a good price that's easy on your wallet, and also decent performance. Nvidia is NOT inconsistent with their products. Their Customer service is excellent, and is about inline with AMD. Choose what you want -there are scpecs and charts you can compare at Video Card Benchmark -- You called, sir?

If I was to buy a GPU right now, I would get an gtx 770. Also, if building an Intel CPU based PC, wait to the second semester. Devil's Canyon will be released, and it seems to be a good processor for overclocking due to superior thermal performance.

Yes they said they would be suporting DX11, which is basicaly Microsoft's mantle (which of course will function on both Nvidia and AMD, since windows). Besides, theres bond to be more optimized for Nvidia's.
