Are you in favor of spending hundreds of dollars on CCP Legion?

I will go in the thread and tally up the yays and nays.

Never spent hundreds anyways, would never spend more than a few dollars, especially after CCP's little stunt, and definitely wouldn't buy a new console just for the game.

Because I don't look at the money I spend as a long term investment but as buying a consumable product.
I don't expect Mcdonalds to give me free cheeseburgers everyday because I spent 100's of dollars on them. all the same if Mcdonalds shut down I would not expect them to refund all the money I have spent there. |

I'm not going to drop any money on EVE: Legion until it's been out for a good while to determine if it's good or garbage.
I've stopped buying AUR in Dust514 a long time ago because there wasn't really anything worth buying and the game was/is not really living up to the vision CCP shared with us.

to spend money on a ccp built game one would first have to play ccp built games..i will never touch another ccp built game again no matter how fancy it is..plenty of other games and gaming companies to enjoy i wasted enough time on the washed up drunkin dreams of ccp.
2 years playing dust and the game was never once even remotely good..the only thing dust has ever been is a washed up sack of empty promises and the dumped that sack at fanfest. |

Transfer my character.
Give some value to the time I've put into the game since SP won't migrate (seriously, stop thinking it will people, they will rename every skill so they don't have to).
Give some form of a system with which people can see we are the true vets, not just the Legion BETA guys who will have a lot of the unique things we own.
Bring it to the PS4 sooner rather than later (before the console cycle rolls over/is near the end).
To answer your question, with all the above met, no, I would not spend anywhere near the amount of money I already spent. $20 at best.
I 'support' EVE:Legion. Since the PS4 is just a dream, make it easy to sell our characters and our Beta access...

Consoles have cycles and dlc's are an optional thing for people to buy.
If you want to play a previous game on the next console then as has been shown throughout console history
it is generally not usually viable except in cases such as the PS2. This is because technology changes and new games come out all the time, which probably means that people generally do not go back to game they originally bought on the previous consoles.
I spent not 1 cent on dust514 but I still would like to see if I can transfer my character over to the pc version. |

I stopped paying for DUST over a year ago because I felt like there was nothing worth buying (and because I have the poor), and that the game really couldn't go anywhere on the PS3
If CCP shows that they actually make Legion as awesome as it could be, I would love to start supporting them again.

I've spent money for intangible items on a video game. That is understood as my disposable money. So yes, if I see something I want on Legion, I will spend my money on it. If I'm so concerned with spending money on add on content, I wouldn't have been paying in the first place. It's my money and I do what I want.

I won't spend hundreds to upgrade so that I can run the damned thing, and even if I did I wouldn't spend a penny on Legion itself. The last time I put forth a combination of many hours and hundreds of dollars into a game it turned out to be a failure and beta test for a different game on a different platform.

Sees badly textured Caldari marshmellow heavy.
Notices HMG phasing in, and out of heavy polygon model.
What is my soldier looking at; while I fit him with all these various modules?
