Bring back Corp battles now that Legion is out

I have released a similar thread in the War Room because I wish to reach all areas of the forum. https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=137436 Guys you may remember a little while ago I made a big fuss over Corp battles being taken out, and a petition was formed that got over 60 signatures, with 150 likes on the thread and 21 pages of support. Eventually it was denied by the CPM, however in light of recent 'Legion' news I believe this would not be an awful thing to to bring back. I mean after all, why not? PC is broken, this could be something to add on to it in the 'fix' we've been promised. Bring them back CCP you might as well, you have nothing to lose but we as players have everything to gain. Really would love dev support on the thread I've posted up there! ^ Brb, sister needs the TV

There is no bringing back that specific feature into the game due to issues it has caused of mostly empty matches and people not accepting challenges for battles that spun up regardless. There is far more precedent in bringing in a new feature instead that allows Corp vs Corp without wasting server resources while remaining fun and not resorting to a game of ding dong ditch. Issues of mostly empty matches and people not accepting challenges... Haven't heard that before but either way, we would love to have the ability to match up against other corps/groups whether it's a new feature or old. One would assume that a game like this would have the ability to set up custom matches or private matches.

Considering that you could do it at any time during the day it would breed new life into competitive play DUST wants to promote. I would be down with corp battles making a comeback.
