Snipping has never been an easy job and use to be extremely competitive. They've also never been powerful. Unless you could headshot you were never going to take someone in one hit. Running and gunning is easy. I prefered the extreme skill base of snipping. I know a lot of people complained about snippers in the past but honestly i think was because people who weren't in it didn't know how high risk it was. Running milita sniper gear wouldn't cut it. Most snipers paid more for their rifles then most paid for their whole suit. I have had my own teammates try and kill me because not only am I a sniper I'm a female sniper. Instead of focusing on the game and winning and getting kills they wanted to kill the female sniper. This hatred for snipers, nova knivers and heavy suits is ridiculous as well as the unbalanced game. They are aspects of the game just infantry, tanks and shotguns. There is nothing wrong with any role even if I do hate shotguns I would never ask to have them taken out of the game. Quit the being so butt sore. Players are another reason why I'm thinking about leaving the game. No one wants to play and have fun. I have met so many players that don't have fun unless their team is decimating the other. It's not worth playing with players like that.

I'm done with dust and all of the messed up mechanics. I can't get 3 steps without being shot with a cloaked shotguner killing me. A heavy machine gun kills me in a shot. My sniper rifle does less damage then a shotgun at medium range. It's ridiculous. I have been playing Dust since the open beta and have watched the slow downfall of players and mechanics. My sniper rifles are maxed with skills and enhancers and my suit is buffed with repair and plates but I get one shorted with milita shotguns ran by light suits and my rifle can't even take down a light suits shielding. Anti vehicle weapons target players now a
nd the victims don't even have a chance of running away because splash damage will kill them anyways. Nothing is balanced. Every map is geared for vehicles and I rarely see more then a handful of people on the grounds anymore. Snipers are a lost race with no purpose anymore because the new maps offer no way of getting to sniper perches unless they have a drop ship. All of mytime and efforts and isk and skill points have been completely wasted because CCP can't make a game without breaking it and nothing can redeem this game. I'm done.

No offense but its a lot harder to run and gun than it is to sit in the red line and one shot people that can't come and get you..........IMO

From a dedicated slayer, logi, and sniper, running and gunning with a CR, RR, SR, and even AR is far easier than scoring kills with a Sniper Rifle.

Look at the TTK on the Sniper Rifle, and look at the TTK on the Conventional Rifles. Now tell me which one is the true EZ Mode.

Extreme skill base of sniping? lol You are out of touch with reality. You obviously haven't been up against some these scouts lately. Just sit back in your redline and think you are providing valuable intel , or you are somehow defending a point by yourself. Imaginary land is fun. Just sit in the redline tucked under some repping nano hives, probably in a heavy suit all nice and safe and warm while your team loses.

If you don't believe me, check out this youtube video. This guy even says he has no experience sniping, and made an alt for sniping. He goes like 30+ kills with 0 deaths. Point & click , Point & click. He admitted to that also.

I hate snipers so much, I paid a dropship pilot 10 million isk to fly to the enemy MCC and kill the scrub that went up there 3 different times. I had tears of joy from laughing so hard. Then the sniper sent hatemail to the pilot. YUMMMMM that was icing on the cake. Tears . He called the pilot , cheating, ******, blah blah blah . Almost pizzed myself from laughing. Then I emailed the sniper telling him that was the best 10 million ever spent.

Put away your BB gun and join the fight, defend an objective or god forbid maybe you could actually attack one.

If not,,,go play Skylanders. That is a fun game, says my 7 yr old.

If I get sniped by some redline coward that continually tries to pik on me in my light suit, I ll drop everything an make it my mission to kill that bastardo for the entire match and I ll suicide over and over to do it!

I ve even gone as far as building a cheap suicide nova knife fit in the middle of the match and take a free LAV with scanners into the redline, just to ruin ur damn day!
