Just watched the keynote video on you tube and I think its one of the best decisions the Devs have made so far and its a feature I would highly recommend putting into Dust 513 with the mentioned slight increase to drop suit module prices.
When this system is finished will it go to Dust 514 first or at all?
If it does go to Dust 514 will we get refunded are ISK for the suits?
when the Dev was talking about modules he included every thing that goes on a drop suit can we get a conformation that only the modules prices will go up and not the equipment and weapons.
I don't even know why I bother.

I have to disagree. It's a bad idea. Everything should have a price, dropsuits included.

Pro: "You are not a mercenary or even a person: you are your dropsuit. You should be proud of your dropsuit and always use the most up to date version. You shouldn't be in militia gear once you are done with it." That was CCP Z's entire point and I think it is a good one.
Con: Basically, "everything should have a price."
I am mostly in favor of it though simply because price is an economics problem. Simply roll the price of the prototype dropsuit into the price of the modules and it is no change. The difference is that you have still earned your dropsuit. What has me the most worried about it is what about my Raven, Sever, Dren, and Dragonfly Suits?

so you want players to just give up and not try any more and give you boring games? you like spending 5-10 minutes looking for some thing to shoot at and finding nothing?
I don't even know why I bother.

You realise they're only making the suit a BPO?
You'll still need to pay for the modules.

lol, this is New Eden, and the game is not supposed to hold your hand. Also, he's correct in that only the dropsuits were going to be BPO's, so like that'll change much of anything. Well, other than take a way a huge part of the player market.
How are we supposed to obtain said dropsuits anyways?

the Dev explains it in the key notes you unlock them by skilling into them you then have unlimited access to that drop suit. witch means you get a suit with more module slots and its up to you on how much money you want to spend on what goes on it.
for example you could run the equivalent of a proto suits with all militia stuff on it making the suit really cheep or putting your best grade modules/equipment/weapons on it but at the same time there is no point in running your starter suit any more.
hopefully militia grade equipment will also be BPO's so that players will always run their best suits.
I don't even know why I bother.
