LOL, Consoles have more game piracy. Cost more in the long run, over priced for their level of performance, and cost of games goes to support gamegestapo, not developers. Why is it that steam sells games for 5$ every 3 months?

Poor lol! Most PC gamers still live at home with mommy and daddy spending all their time locked in a dark basement. Go troll somewhere else. I use to play games on my PC, in the 80s and early 90s. You know why PC gamers buy expensive gaming computers? Cause they have no bills to pay. |

Dust is for poors. I've actually heard people say the only reason they play is because its free and they'd rather spend what little money they have on a bag of weed instead of a new FPS. I was like that for a while  |

Steam games sell for 5$ because there are 2 ways to make money. Sell few of something at a inflated price or sell tons of something at a lean price. Either way the company makes money.
Game piracy is not to blame not by a longshot. It is probably one of the few things that both console and PC games have in common.
One thing that is going to really suck and might even totally ruin Legion is that hacks are everywhere in the PC world. People even hack / cheat in team fortress 2 a game that is totally free. There is nothing to gain at all other than some stat that nobody gives a dam about.
Personally if legion is free i will be there but i suspect since CCP can't code worth a dam that the game will be hacked and aimboted to death and everyone will end up hating it.
At least on the console systems hacking is far less prevalent and if someone is found to be running non sony OS the console is banned in a manner that makes it pretty inconvenient. |

The only way to pirate games on the ps3 is by:
1. Having a ps3 firmware 3.55 or below (The last hackable Official Firmware)
2. Having a hardware flasher to downgrade your ps3s firmware to 3.55 or below (Downgrading can also brick your ps3 if done incorrectly)
So yea it is possible but is not anywhere near PCs level of piracy. Also this only allows offline use since hacked ps3s usually get banned very quickly by Sony. |
