So someone sent me a hate mail since I used a Warbarge Strike on his SICA twice and took it out both times.
So a little bit of what was happening. It is a dom match in which they were losing pretty badly. In addition, they were going to be cloned if they got the NULL back anyway. And the first warbarge was saved and used when a squad mates tank (280k ISK) was getting snuck up on by the SICA Rail (MLT). So I decided to use it on the SICA and the SICA was annihilated and my squad mates tank was saved....literally. The 2nd warbarge was placed because they were redlined and there was one Tank that had the best angles so I thought it to be a strategic move to throw it there. It turns out to be the same guy and it was destroyed as well.
He sent a message indicating that I could have used them elsewhere. I sent a reply stating that there was justification for, at least, the first one. It saved a squad mates tank. The only skilled tanker on the field who was being over ran. The second one was whim. His reply was "don't be so defensive, it was just constructive criticism..." and some other nonsense.
Thoughts?
Can you waste a warbarge on a tank in a scenario like that? I say if we are winning overwhelmingly then it isn't a terrible idea to get rid of a tank that might take out a squadmates, corp mates, friend's, etc. tank.
Was he just butt hurt?

Using the assets available to win a match is what any game is about. Nothing is fair in war.
All vehicle drivers are cautioned to only deploy equipment they are willing to lose. And two Sicas? Yes I expect to lose them otherwise I would have deployed a Gunni.  I always see losing a tank to a warbarge strike or a Jihad Jeepster is part of the game. One is bad luck mostly and the other is bad game play (but I am not a Jihad Jeepster so I have a different viewpoint).
Nobody at CCP cares because we ain't Legionnaires.

I agree. Some idiot and his pathetic scrub corp from Prime Grima were butt hurt because I destroyed 4 Gallente Dropships, 2 Incubus, and 2 tanks with my Caldari Rail Gun. They wasted 2 OB's on me and failed xD hahaha lolol.
If I get an OB I never use it on Tank because its a risky move. A 50/50 chance.
If you run proto gear, prepare to suffer the consequences. You've been warned.

It was pretty close though on the 2nd one but not close enough to get any additional kills

It's your choice mate, you make the rules of where to put the orbitals. I find you can't explain your reasoning to people like that. Just tell them to deal with it and have a nice day.
