We were given the ultimatum, "Follow us, or die", by ERA. All corps of the alliance DNS.
We were then given another letter that reads, "Don't worry about those attacks we sent against you (members of the alliance), we are locking your districts for your own safety. Though if you do choose to side with AE, we will make those full blown attacks"
