Not quite sure what the point is... Are you trying to say the suit sucks, or that it's not underpowered and everyone is whining over nothing?

I went 32-0 in my tank in Uprising 1.4. Did that mean V/AV was balanced?
Not saying that the Minmatar Assault is UP, but this has next to nothing in terms of an actual argument.

The level of complaints about the suit are entirely unjustified. Yes the it could use a little less shield delay, but overall as long as you know how to play shield suits it plays very nicely.
Many of the complaints I see are about how it's too slow or that running shields sucks and many of the solutions from such people are just as crazy.
This suit is crazy, I can 1v1 heavies of the same tier with little issues.

I personally like the suit, though I can't help but think the slot layout should be switched with the Caldari. It just seems kind of odd that the suits meant for shield tanking have more options for armor than the Minmatar. It's definitely a fun suit though, and certainly usable, though I think in most cases, the Minmatar scouts are more useful. I'd recommend switching out of that assault Combat Rifle too, the standard is much more useful and won't cost you as much PG or CPU.

The BK only costs 5 more CPU and no PG more while having worlds more DPS. Nice to see someone using the suit who doesn't need to whine 24/7

The Minmatar suits are my favorites, been using the assault/basic variants for quite some time. I'd still rather they had 4/3 on the slot layout so I could toss one of those lows for a PG expansion, but whether or not that happens, I still intend on using them and want to get proto eventually (Been playing around with the Republic MK.0 lately, and I have to say, having 500+ shields and the speed of a scout suit is amazing and extremely fun, plus the extra mag sizes don't hurt either. I just wish the bonuses weren't limited to two weapons.  I was really looking forward to running a Flaylock with a whopping, overpowered four shots per mag!

Minmatar suits aren't bad, they just require insane skill on the user side.
People who are good in Minmatar suits generally have excellent gun game. You have to.
