AE, or DNS? Which to side with...
If AE wins, they will be once again back in their seat of power, of which they have sat in for far too long. Nyain San will then jump ship to AE and what we had before DNS will be once more.
If DNS wins, we will have EoN 2.0. An alliance that seemingly 'cares' for the community, and allows players to fight but only under the conditions DNS allows...
Fight against them both? A bad idea, likely they will just unite against the third party as a common enemy.
This is a hard one.
So who is teaming up with AE, anyhow?

Just an FYI, Molon has already been warned that we will be blackballed out of the community if we stand with AE. Just like we always do, we side with the lesser of two evils. We've never jumped on a bandwagon and we never will. We've suffered by taking this stance.
To me AE has always been kind of like OH. They just want to fight and sometimes decisions to do so have hurt them diplomatically. But with Kane there is always some ulterior motive. In my opinion AE won't be around in the same fashion regardless of the outcome. So by opposing DNS and Kane you are going to be blackballed by him.
Molon doesn't get much respect from the PC crowd, but we've always been on the side of the oppressed and we are still here kicking. Still one of the most active corps in the game. Just wanted to mention that, you don't have to suck on the teet of DNS to keep afloat in Dust.

I guess bandwagoning doesn't imply you joined up with PD when Eon was in power and PD was paying them off (may have joined during the fall of Eon, somewhere between those areas). Then you buddied up with RA while still in PD, paying them off not to attack, and I know PD did this. I would say joining with FA during the Tsos war is bandwagoning, but you really had no other choice.
Most of what you said is crap, but I can at least agree with you on the Kain part.

That's true, and that's the stance we took. But what is the difference really? From our view the corps that paid people off ended up paying far more in the end when those arrangements fell through. And I think that's why we have fewer allies, because people didn't get ISK from us.

We locked and we've never hidden that fact, but there are a lot of bad info out there in regards to us. We fought to the bitter end multiple times. Lots of the guys that talk all the smack about us were still in scrubby little 10 man corps trying to figure out why shotgun heavy wasn't working out for them when we were fighting it out in MH.

Derrith you were in PX1 at the time supporting the biggest ***** of all time that wouldn't play his best 16 unless it was scrubs until people stopped accepting his isk.
And ML is no pretty girl anymore cause she locked up all her districts unless she felt safe from the big boys and yet cursed AE for being so strong and went off the deep end in anger when the big boys stopped fighting against each other and they turned on stb/ml for funsies in between real war.

Well said, but we are already well versed at eating humble pie. My point in this thread is that we have always been on this side, knowing full well that it doesn't help us out with the big boys. If someone tells me that I'll be blackballed unless I cave in to a big brother situation then I'll choose going down with the ship everytime.
Molon's name gets **** on quite a bit. It wasn't about our districts being safe. It was that we didn't have any allies and the only people still participating in PC weren't fans of Molon and we would have been evicted quickly. It was always our hope that the mechanics would change and it would generate more participation from the community. When we joined PD and later GTA the locking was tactical and we were asked to continue due to the overwhelming district advantage of RA. The problem we faced with the length of time we locked is that we lost any edge that we once had and it's been difficult to get back in the swing of things.

AE is pretty transparent with their intentions. I don't know when AE has ever turned on alliance mates or left them behind (correct me if I'm wrong - as I only joined shortly before the O.H war). We've always taken care of each other, even when we were asked to move to the DNS alliance, NOBODY was left behind.
I haven't really been in the loop, but I hope the corps that have stuck with AE in the past will continue to do so.

Well I don't know about within the alliance, but they have turned on people they were in business with or blue with in the past. I think it's a similar situation that Kane found when dealing with AE. It seems like there are just a lot of guys who don't get into the meta and just want to fight.
I don't have any inside knowledge of AE, it's just my personal perception.

If anyone really believes that AE and company want 100% of Molden Heath you are sadly mistaken. Kane wanted us to be the bad guys when PFC broke down, so we accepted the job since most everyone hated us already. Pretty sure one of the leaders may have some backroom chat in regards to that. What you read on the forums at the time was just meta. With that being said, we have been wanting to give away district to corps that could actually hold them for weeks now, even before Fanfest. We knew we didn't have the guys on to hold it all and to be honest, most had already quit. We have a bigger player base in League of Legends(I still don't know what this game is) than we do in Dust. As far as Kane kicking us from DNS we have tried to leave all week. I have been spamming Kujo on my cell with, "how can we leave DNS"..."c'mon bro, we need the **** out" all week long. He FINALLY answers the call from Doc I think yesterday afternoon.
We were basically just going to back away, close down AE, remaining members would stay together, play in PC for people that paid us or join other corps. That was and STILL is the plan. But, we are not going to hand over our districts to Kane and DNS without fighting for them. Kane/DNS want all of Dust to fall under one umbrella (ERA/DNS) so they can stroke themselves while licking each others nipples on a giant bed of ISK. Believe what you want, Kane does not work for the community (see FanFest fiasco) and he uses his titles as CPM to gain an advantage over the other players(the proof will be provided too CCP soon).
You don't have to fight with us, you can join the fight with Kane and listen to him drivel on about how everyone is going to be rich and you'll have PFC to train your little hearts out. Just beware.
Anyone want Mexican today? I'm hungry!
