Just an FYI, Molon has already been warned that we will be blackballed out of the community if we stand with AE. Just like we always do, we side with the lesser of two evils. We've never jumped on a bandwagon and we never will. We've suffered by taking this stance.
To me AE has always been kind of like OH. They just want to fight and sometimes decisions to do so have hurt them diplomatically. But with Kane there is always some ulterior motive. In my opinion AE won't be around in the same fashion regardless of the outcome. So by opposing DNS and Kane you are going to be blackballed by him.
Molon doesn't get much respect from the PC crowd, but we've always been on the side of the oppressed and we are still here kicking. Still one of the most active corps in the game. Just wanted to mention that, you don't have to suck on the teet of DNS to keep afloat in Dust.

At what point was PD on top? I missed that part. At the time it was the only alliance outside of RA participating in PC.
Making moves to better our position is not bandwagoning. There's a huge difference. We have ALWAYS been on the side against the super power.

And we joined PD within a week of AE turning their backs on PD.
In fact AE attacked our districts within a few days of joining PD

Just because you weren't in Eon or Ra doesn't mean that paying them off wasn't bandwagoning. And participating in PC? participating would imply you fought or did something, which blueing up with the big boys is hardly doing something. Granted, during the Prof. V wars, you were doing something, but afterwards, it was payment of the big dog as usual.
We have NEVER paid anyone off to not attack us.

That's true, and that's the stance we took. But what is the difference really? From our view the corps that paid people off ended up paying far more in the end when those arrangements fell through. And I think that's why we have fewer allies, because people didn't get ISK from us.

We locked and we've never hidden that fact, but there are a lot of bad info out there in regards to us. We fought to the bitter end multiple times. Lots of the guys that talk all the smack about us were still in scrubby little 10 man corps trying to figure out why shotgun heavy wasn't working out for them when we were fighting it out in MH.

We weren't allied with STB back then. Search the forums. I talked MAD **** to STB about TP and AE being in all of STB's fights.

Derrith you were in PX1 at the time supporting the biggest ***** of all time that wouldn't play his best 16 unless it was scrubs until people stopped accepting his isk.
And ML is no pretty girl anymore cause she locked up all her districts unless she felt safe from the big boys and yet cursed AE for being so strong and went off the deep end in anger when the big boys stopped fighting against each other and they turned on stb/ml for funsies in between real war.
Both of you are my friends so realize no one is perfect.
But tags are family so both of you should have natural reactions to wanna **** on rivals.
The important thing thought is be cognizant that until you sit down with mike or hawkin or i or kujo you know nothing.
i made some humble pie, let's all take a bite together alright?

Well said, but we are already well versed at eating humble pie. My point in this thread is that we have always been on this side, knowing full well that it doesn't help us out with the big boys. If someone tells me that I'll be blackballed unless I cave in to a big brother situation then I'll choose going down with the ship everytime.
Molon's name gets **** on quite a bit. It wasn't about our districts being safe. It was that we didn't have any allies and the only people still participating in PC weren't fans of Molon and we would have been evicted quickly. It was always our hope that the mechanics would change and it would generate more participation from the community. When we joined PD and later GTA the locking was tactical and we were asked to continue due to the overwhelming district advantage of RA. The problem we faced with the length of time we locked is that we lost any edge that we once had and it's been difficult to get back in the swing of things.

Siding with DNS, you will have to abide to Daddy Kane's rule forever and ever.
Siding with AE, you can do whatever the **** you want.
Full well knowing that at any point AE could turn on you. But I'm okay with that. I'd personally rather deal with a bad guy that I'm not sure what they are going to do than one that wants to control my every move.

I don't know when AE has ever turned on alliance mates or left them behind (correct me if I'm wrong - as I only joined shortly before the O.H war). We've always taken care of each other, even when we were asked to move to the DNS alliance, NOBODY was left behind. I haven't really been in the loop, but I hope the corps that have stuck with AE in the past will continue to do so.
Well I don't know about within the alliance, but they have turned on people they were in business with or blue with in the past. I think it's a similar situation that Kane found when dealing with AE. It seems like there are just a lot of guys who don't get into the meta and just want to fight.
I don't have any inside knowledge of AE, it's just my personal perception.
