The roadmap is to legion. To me its obvious they have already given up on dust. There isnt even rumor about when 1.9 is going to drop. Which should have been out this month, technically it should have come out late april but with 1.8 being such a large release i can understand they would want to have a good amount of data before making more changes. I think what we have now is where this all ends.

I dont think CCP really cares about that, mostly because all the closed beta vets had pretty significant advantages in blueprints, isk and sp.s and they did not force a reset of characters into the release.

CCP has already made the point abundantly clear that they are more or less abandoning Dust. https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=2135709#post2135709 This section especially spells it out: When it comes to DUST development I can tell you that we are currently looking at changes to Planetary Conquest, further iterating on item balance after Uprising 1.8 and some matchmaking improvements; all of which will be deployed as server-side updates. We currently don't have a date set for when you will get these updates. This is from CCP Rogue on 5-5-2014. So no client updates means no new items at all and only minor changes. There will be no 1.9 there will be no new maps or anything else that would require a client update. The most annoying part about this to me is that CCP knows how bad the AV game is and that tanks have a very large advantage right now CCP has even said they are not happy with AV but from this update it looks like a AV re-balance is not even in the works. Long live tank514! Don't you have a way to get in touch with CCP? Shouldnt you be even more informed than the playerbase? Or is this you faking ignorance to make things seem positive?

I hate to be "that" guy and use likes to support a claim but I think having a few thousand more than you shows Ive spent time on the forums not just reading them but interacting with other members of the community And do you want me to dredge up all the old posts and threads talking about respecs where the only somewhat legitimate counter argument was "Your choices are supposed to matter so you shouldnt be able to change your build as you please" with that argument now being defunct since we know that hey our choices dont matter now and our progress is being erased in favor of Legion So its not just me that IWS isnt representing but a big chunk of the player base but hell even that doesnt make him completely invalid, what pushes it over the line is him saying that because he personally disagrees with it that he wont even bring it up

All active players should be given a 4th leisure character with max stats and money to play on so dust can go out on a high note. You can play on your normal character and accumulate sp and the can track them for legion transfers. This way everyone can be on equal footing and focus on fun as the last remaining people in dust since so many have quit already. Itd also be an interesting beta of sorts for legion since we know dust is just a beta anyway. Might as well give every proto and see how it works out.
