It is good to see that there is a good company out there that is considering taking some responsible action for the mess that was crated here. I would like to continue to support SONY playstation and all of there products as I always have. From The times when I was younger and I can still remember playing tomb raider for the first time on playstation one, I have always thought that they have the best games. |

It is pretty common for the middle man to be willing to shell out the money of the other side. If they did not they would be stuck fighting a charge back they can not win and incur pretty big losses from the fees involved with them.
Even without that why would they risk their reputation and money to protect a company who can not be bothered with keeping their customers happy.

I can remember all the good games like diablo 1 and final fantasy 7. Playstation made those games great. They will always have a place in my heart. I want to see playstation always come out on top when it comes to games. They always where the first to have the best ones. |

You cant blame playstation for trying to bring us this game. They want to try to stay competitive in the online gaming. They want to bring players new things. Its just a real shame about CCP thats all. |

Lol and now legion will be responsible for the downfall of dust. Kind of funny that the message left on the PSN was we are legion. Wonder if its some joke by CCP. |

At fist I was mad at SONY and CCP. I said to **** them both in the ass with a stick of dynamite. But I was wrong. CCP made a good game that was able to capture my imagination. If they just cant do business with playstation I guess I can understand. But I did make a considerable investment and I would not like to see it wasted. If so you cant blame me for trying to see it returned. I hope CCP and SONY can some how resolve this drama. |

If they transfer characters then this is good. Until then I am still a bit uneasy about LEGION. I hope they will truly do the right thing. |

Sony just wants you to think they're on your side, like all companies do. Also, what mess? You mean the one that happened when CCP decided against launching EVE: Legion (Dust 514) on the PS4? Yeah, let that sink in. CCP is getting criticized for not releasing EVE: Legion (Dust 514) on Sony's console.
So maybe it's really Sony's fault.

Playstation network is considering giving me a refund. But I think I will tell them I don't want it anymore, as long as we can have character transfers. |

Somebody has to make it right. I am seeing good things from both sides. Character transfer from CCP and the thought of partial refunds from SONY. |

I still support Sony. I have a steam account on my PC but I don't whine every time I get a game that utterly sucks. Financially I spent far less on more enjoyable games on the PS3 than I have on the PC. I think I actually have gotten richer from console games since I sold on eBay years ago titles like Secrets of Mana, FF2/3/4 & the original Xenogears. Xenogears I picked up for me and my brother but he never wanted his copy and they never accepted a refund for it at Gamestop. Was good too since i sold that for a lovely $400 each on eBay.
Sony doesn't really control how developers make or decide stuff on their console; but if a company does pledge to support a game on a console and then retracts it, it's really on that company. |

At Least when Sony's systems get compromised they tell you... Microsoft on the other hand WILL NOT. Why? Their entire reputation is based around computer programming, not to mention they have an entire facility dedicated to the study and elimination of intrusion and viruses. If someone broke into their system (and this happens quite often) and stole lots of data possibly including credit card info, their public reputation would be in the hole.
The only way you can tell when their databanks get compromised, is to sign up for something like Xbox Live or a Microsoft Network with an email account that is exclusively for that connection. Eventually you'll start getting scam emails of all kinds (if your provider doesn't auto-block them) or advertisements for random stuff, but the only person you gave your Email address to was Microsoft.
Microsoft is the least likely of all game providers to 1. Admit to being wrong 2. Offer compensation 3. Follow up properly with compensation.
