You have a lot of growing up to do if you seriously think this is lying to you and stealing from you. They might transfer the game to another platform so that they can create the vision that was originally presented to us for this game because they decided the current one can't support that vision, and all that's been invested by players will be transferred to the new platform too.

I mean seriously, how childish can you get? You have no idea the kind of work and technical problem solving that is involved in a game like this with this kind of depth and complexity. This is something that no other game company has ever done before, and yet you're whining and acting like a brat because it's not on the toy that mommy got you 7 years ago. If they honestly don't think that the current platform can deliver the vision that they originally made to us who started in the beta, then it's completely fine for them to transfer. If you really want to be a part of such a huge project, again, sack up and buy a better PC and quit whining about the fact that they might stop developing on your 7 year old **** system already.

Hypothetical time: If I promise a fantastic 5 course meal, and then simply throw some hot sauce on dollar ramen, while telling you that you can only have that 5 course meal you were shown earlier if you buy a new kitchen, did I deliver on my promise? If I asked for donations for the ingredients beforehand, is that false advertising since I showed it in your kitchen, but then demanded a second, more expensive kitchen to do it in?

My dignity isn't tied up in a video game. Frankly the only reason I still have any presence on these forums is due to the fact that it's what we used mainly to communicate with CCP during the closed beta. I honestly miss those days, since these forums weren't filled with cry babies like you.

I actually waited to pay for quite a while, until the game finally started to shape up a little. It was at the point where I felt that an investment would be a good idea, a way to say "I support this and the direction it is going in"

How funny that I've been here since closed beta, when I was still relatively nice, and I've never once seen you posting. I'm sure you'll grow out of your needless superiority complex one day, but until then little man, feel free to try and harp on people for being unhappy with liars and thieves.

They showed PvE and massive battles for dust, money was spent to fund dust eventually becoming that, dust has effectively been cancelled, and all assets from the dust project have been shifted to the legion project. It is a separate project(as stated by CCP) that has been funded with money from dust based purchases.

I paid for dust, and that money has been redirected to another project entirely,and the project I was shown will now never have the content it was being advertised with. They have lied(by advertising a product with content that they later cut for another project, presumably for sale/microtransaction) and stolen from myself and others(diverting funds from the dust project to legion, and effectively cancelling dust)

You see, they never stole anything from you as they're transferring all the assets that you paid for over to the new platform if it becomes a full game! You even still have those assets right now on Dust too! Also, just because they figured out at this point that they probably won't be able to deliver Dust in the form they wanted it to be in on 7 year old hardware doesn't mean they're liars either! It means they made a design decision and changes necessary to bring the best product to the players, and that the realization came at a time later after they had tried to implement those design changes on the hardware it's currently on!

Anyway, apparently they decided that delivering that was only going to happen on the PC and not 7 year old hardware that can barely run the game as it is now, which is completely reasonable.

Also, the money that you paid them isn't yours any more. I don't think you know how the real world works, kiddo. Once you pay a company for some product, they're free to use that money on other investments. It's not rocket science.

If you're really willing to whine about a game design decision which is perfectly reasonable considering the sheer scope of the project ( and then trying to compare it to a restaurant serving you something you didn't ask for?
