You know, in a bottlenecked situation like that a sniper could actually DO something. Not terribly effectively, but he could possibly kill someone.
The shotgunner? No. He couldn't even kill time. |

At that range I can quickscope and headshot people.
I did it in one or two 1on1 encounters where a dude was running at me to get me in range of his rifle. |

The Shotgunner isn't the problem.
The real problem is that a plasma cannon was used!
And we didn't even get to see if the victim bounced happily away, alive.

My Gallente scout avatar in Playstation home has a drone. That little guy follows me around everywhere.
