Approach Sony and ask them how much it costs to buy a now defunct game called MAG pre-bullet spread and re-release it. It probably costs a fraction of the money used by CCP to explore and apply bug fixes in Dust. I know how many PS3 players on my end would just cry out of love for a Dom match again... |

Its sht and people think its good because they didn't know any better. Wasn't actual massive battles like you may think either.
You missed nothing, not even at the time unless you have always been pure console then yes you missed out BIG time lol.

Naw. That's okay. I enjoyed MAG, I'd prefer for CCP to not destroy my fond memories (yes, rose tinted classes everyone). Plus, its not in New Eden, so CCP wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. In the videogame industry, we never reach too far from our safety zone, that's why every game is a 2D platformer or a Pac-Man clone...
Sony has MAG in their vault. More importantly, they have our clan bases, our improved APCs, and our vastly improved maps locked up with the MAG 2 data.nWould not be surprised if SOE pops up with the game in the future on a very expensive F2P model.
I 'support' EVE:Legion. Since the PS4 is just a dream, make it easy to sell our characters and our Beta access...

That would make me buy a ps4. Ps2 will not. |

Hate to say playing on console and PC whether it was Battlefield to the ole' Counterstrike, it did a few things revolutionary that even Dust has to hit on:
- Couldn't proto stomp...really couldn't.
- Still supported most players on a map and that's still 10x more than Dust and 4x as any PC game
- It did create a clear objective of the game goal
I'm not saying MAG was godly, but at the end of the day they were closer to a better, more polished product than Dust right now. If Dust is a beta product and Legion is the finished product, they don't have much to lean on for bragging rights.
For PC gamers who play ESO, it's like when clan forums talked about item duping as early as Beta? That's about the seriousness that CCP takes with Dust right now and the input it receives. Somehow decreasing your playerbase by half doesn't sound like good business sense. |
