The forums stopped raging (I saw somewhere that they said CCP successfully stopped that), and I saw a few new DEV posts, even the new one from CCP Rouge. Which post made the carnage end?

The one where a lot of the people raging mysteriously stopped being able to post.
EDIT: also, there was a massive biomassing of clones in protest of CCP ****ing all over their customers.
CCP "logic": Why fix something when we can &^%$ all over everyone who believed in us.

this video helped a lot. Granted there are still a lot of unanswered questions, and despite what is said in the video Dust IS dead.
But at least we are starting to feel like CCP is listening. Now we just wait for them to start talking.

you don't. you just listen to all of the mumbling and laughter until your rage dies. Then you turn it off and feel like you've learning someting... but aren't exactly sure what you learned. At least you won't be as angry anymore.

I spent most of my rage. Now I'm in a place where I'm kind of glad its over, it frees up time for me to play some other games and maybe actually get AC4 finished before I get Watch Dogs on the 27th
