As the core Dust community is leaving/left its probably time to put a cap on its official history [Legion will build its own legacy] like we did in MAG we'll do a short timeline, describe the top 10 moments and vote for 10 deserving members of the official Dust 514 hall of fame.
lets take this week to vote on events and people. kindly add a short note and describe the reasoning for your choice.
we'll do the official piece on our blog on friday.

I'm not trolling at all here. This thread aint a bad idea. It's cool to kinda set our history. But it may take a while before peeps can look back objectively on the dust 514 adventure and do this

For the sake of this thread purposes : i think Day One of planetary conquest opening has to be a landmark. It gave the metagame a huge buff

Lol, i think it would be best to avoid any reference to the late FanFest 14 crisis regarding HOF or top moments. After all, the point is to celebrate what we did during our playtime. And i'm sure there a lot more than 10 people to be remembered before me regarding meta game or game.

The 3 week long period where the Amarr flipped the established and broken FW system back to 100% control across all regions. First pendulum swing of FW in Dusts history, and a massive effort on behalf of the players.
This was coincided with the making vulnerable of 8 systems across the Mataro dominated warzone, which were swiftly captured on the same night, and saw the whole milita, Dusters and Eggers capture 70% of the warzone by the time the week was out.

For Events
The Squad Cups: The best run Dust tournaments to date. Some minor issues, but it ran pretty smoothly and had a huge turnout.
Community raising money for Quickgloves: Quickgloves had a kid who was sick, community came together to raise money so he could be with his family.
Caldari Prime Event: Best CCP event to date really. Truly awesome experience fighting with a titan crashed in the background and the first time we really helped leave a mark on New Eden.
For People
Kevall Longstride: Head of Dust University. Probably responsible for more people getting into Dust than anyone else.
Cyrius Li-Moody: Hands down the best Dust 514 video content creator in the community.
