Well.. I have Aurum left...
The only true logical use is to buy boosters. Passives if CCP's statements of getting us more answers and figuring things out for Dust takes normal CCP time (here's looking at you Vita App and Vita App question Dev Blog). Actives if they get back to us in a decent time frame and tell me that there will be a way to sell my character to someone that wants a head start.
I 'support' EVE:Legion. Since the PS4 is just a dream, make it easy to sell our characters and our Beta access...

i figured there are so many people here who are actively supporting legion and know for a fact that every single thing you got in dust is gonna be transfered over that you might as well keep buying stuff with real money to support the future

What your not trying for the extra sp this with origin suits event? Why not? They're on sale at a great price and should be loads of fun as everyone liquidates their proto assests on you.
This is as good as DUST514 will ever get I'm winning and don't even have it on my ps3

p.s. I would buy another merc pack if Legion was coming out for ps4, with my ps3 character being transferred with all my stuff, and the merc pack has a BPO in it.

I immediately stopped even caring about capping out this event and I love free SP and ISK.
I find myself not caring within one match of logging in these days.

No Chance. I stopped buying aurum and packs just after Uprising. Once I have used up the last of the Aurum on my account for boosters then that will be it as far as RL money is concerned.
Don't really trust CCP with RL money anymore even if legion makes it onto the PS4.
You do not have to be crazy to play here but we are willing to train you.

If and when I can see clearly what my skill points in dust will mean in legion:
1) Will it be 1/1 conversion?
2) Will skills in legion cost a similar number of SPs? (1/1 is no good if legion gives 2 mil passive SP a day lol)
3) Very rough time frame on when legion will be playable (1 year, 2 years, 3 years, no point buying boosters if we will get 3 years of passive SP in dust before legion is launched and it'll be transferred to legion.
Depending on the answers to those questions, I might buy boosters in dust again. I doubt I'll log in until I have more info about whats going on though. |
