When the skill tree progression is finalized for the most part in Legion, would it be possible to update Dust so that the skill tree is basically the same, allowing for an easier character transfer from Dust to Legion? |

You say that with the assumption CCP gives a dam.
CCP is abandoning the console marketplace. I doubt they give a dam at all about any of us beta testers. |

The progression system they showed at Fanfest is a terrible, horrible, atrocious idea.

Its not, which means you won't be able to get all the skills avaliable in the game in half a year. This is how it should have been from start. Now there will at least be a value to what you re trained in, the role and everything. Just now it feels like nothing has any value at all. There's so much more that is totally wrong in dust. |

Well the OP said that "when it's finalized for the most part" so a lot of that original idea (I do agree it sounded iffy at best) might have changed

The progression shown at fanfest was not the final version though, I expect they will make several changes before it is complete. When they do get something close to a final version, they should consider what I have asked for. CCP Rouge made a statement that skills you have unlocked will be something transferable over, but they might not be the same skills in Dust as in Legion, so why not change the Dust skill tree to make it more like Legion so its an easier time for players to get used to the new system and for CCP to transfer characters over. |
