Considering CCP has no perception of what the public expect of them... Yes this is going to be the new norm.
While I like project Legion, World of Darkness was in development for quite some time and never seen the light of day. The PC has a long way to go before it can "HIT THE GROUND"..
We have troops on the ground today we need CCP support we are god damn paying customers! Just cause you get side tracked doesn't mean you forget your playerbase. Balance your priorities and keep what you have pumping until it's time to release.
I'm sticking around because A) Dust is #$#@ fun as hell B) We where promised a Immortal Soldier which will live on the console C) I'm going to give CCP hell for cheating me out of my $$$$$$
Forge Changes needed Officer Splash 3.0, Proto 2.7 Advanced 2.5 Standard 2.1.
Original ROF needs to return!

Looks fairly normal to me. The drop off won't be noticeable for a while as people are still logging in, saying farewell and so on. I'm sure there are heaps of players who have no idea or don't care.
Heading over to Destiny Beta and a few others

Players are still up in arms about the current state and that's rightfully so .
If CCP cared about retaining players then they would focus on hot fixes and start implementing some new content to finish the player experience until the final hour .
The rest of their efforts should be in a campaign to produce some type of damage control .
Game fixes and implementation of the rest of the content , at least fixing the stats , for some of the suits , balancing weapons and the release of the rest of the racial vehicles would be a nice start .
They already stated that there will be no new content so the should just allow players a SP refund so they can enjoy their last experiences in playing the game that they have supported for a while now .
Even more so the newer players who have been at this for less than a year .
They will more than likely be the last one's playing this game until the end .
Stop asking for tiercide , your killing variety and the fun of this game at the same dam time .

Those people obviously haven't read the news.
Can't wait to see the next event when Omegas are on sale.

Looking at the weekly chart, it's clear they lost at least 1/5 of the playerbase.
IMHO this was completely avoidable with anything approaching 'tact', whomever was in charge of PR for Dust/Legion should fall on their wannabe viking sword. |

In the mean time they'll keep dust up no doubt for the Cash flow issues.
