It is doubtful that such a thing will happen.
At best, I would say a console release would happen a year after the PC release.

Technically EVE: Legion is not DUST 514, so it should be taken with a grain of salt.
Otherwise that same contract would prevent them from creating EVE: Legion in the first place.

I wouldn't mind either way. I just hate how people in the console and PC sides seem to hate each other like how Christians and Muslims hate each other. Both sides think that they are better than the other but in the end they both look stupid and everyone suffers.

CCP said there is nothing holding them back from developing Dust for other platforms. The only reason you don't see Dust on the Xbox is because Microsoft didn't like the idea of letting CCP connect their own servers to theirs and they charged CCP too much compared to Sony. And the reason you don't see it on the Wii or Wii U is because... well... that console is not known for being a great FPS platform.

There was a time when the Console vs PC thing made sense, now though, consoles are better for gamers and developers in many ways and it is just the guys who think the extra graphics (which is more than enough on consoles now anyway) and FPS make PC gaming far better when in reality they just want to cheat, either by having the best rig advantage or actually cheating/botting etc. What exactly do people think PCs will be doing in the future so much better than consoles do now?
If anything we will goto a cloud based gaming system that wont require us to have the hardware anymore, if not that we will continue the trend of EVERY GAME coming out on consoles while less and less cater to PC or even launch there. |

Considering the game was promoted as coming to PS4 at E3, I'm guessing this isn't entirely accurate. |

This is what I'm talking about here. It's post like these that really disappoint me. I hate this whole "Oh the [insert platform] will always be better than the [insert other platform]" as it only shows the level of ignorance in the person saying it.
Again, looking at this whole Console vs PC debate is like looking at a Christian vs Muslim debate. Again, both sides end up looking stupid.
This animosity towards each other seriously needs to stop. I just hate seeing this in general.
