The main rage is about back to back aur buying encouraging events leading up to fan fest, and patches full of bugs, when they knew this for atleast 4 months and had everyone working on Legion instead of Dust, I have some experience with things like Unity, UnrealEd and 3d modelling, and while its my hobby i kinda realized that they did NOT have a large number of well paid professionals working on Dust^^
It was deceptive and they knew it, but they wanted to milk as much as they could before destroying people at fan fest, it was also arrogant and dumb, hinting at it a month or two ago would have cost ccp some aur sales but would have avoided the majority of the rage.
It was ******* stupid short term thinking. But atleast now Rouge knows the difference between ccp customers and EA customers. |

that's stupid. the community bought into this game at the promise made BY CCP of it continuing. bought into meaning spent hours and put cash into it. if the premise of it ending this quickly existed the majority of players wouldn't have done that. the community was lied to by CCP. i hope PC gamers don't all got the same critical thinking skills as you. |

At the moment, it's FAR too early to be telling us that the majority of future plans for DUST are being scrapped and it's pretty much in a holding pattern while Legion is being developed as a separate product.
YES, a new DUST for a next-gen platform, whether that's PC, PS4 or both, should be in development. but NO, it SHOULDN'T be happening at the expense of development on the current game, which is still sorely in need of a LOT of content we have previously been promised, a lot of which is perfectly reasonable to expect from a PS3 game.
None of what you're saying ANYWHERE (including when you've replied to me when I've explained this before) is addressing the very real and valid concerns a lot of players have about legion.
And more importantly, nothing you've said has any bearing on the fact that Legion has been in development, taking resources from DUST, for a LOT longer than it's been public knowledge, and during that time, CCP have DELIBERATELY encouraged players to think long-term on a game they were planning to abandon. |

So, one, there are a hundred reasons (many of which have been stated but conveniently ignored by the OP) that this was a douche move all around, CCP has known they were gonna stop making any meaningful updates for months.
You can't honestly think it's a coincidence that there was a multi-SP event at least once every few weeks in the months leading up to this. And that omega boosters kept showing up and getting pushed by the devs.... who knew what was coming.
This type of dishonest cash-grab bullsh!t is the real problem. And then they multiplied it by 10 by hyping up fanfest and taking a big dump right on the Dust players who went.
We are customers and got treated like dirt. We have every right to be unhappy about it and not continue to do business with a company that has treated us poorly.
If you have a problem with that, then you are welcome to go back to sucking CCP's d!ck because you clearly are made for eachother.

I want come home after a 12 hour day, sit down on my motherf*cking couch, put my feet up on the coffee table, open a beer, and shoot some bastards in the face on my HDTV with 6.1 digital surround, like God freaking intended it.
