We all know the Evetard's will only be able to play legion if they can use an aimbot.
Before legion can be taken seriously this issue would have to be addressed or it will never succeed. |

I've been slaying since the beta without aim assist. The only thing it did was let scrubs like you survive a little longer and actually feel like you had gun game.

Shooting won't matter against open sandbox metagaming. EVE players will continue to be your overlords and use you to win their wars while forcing you slaves to play harder rather than smarter. Why should EVE players need or desire to play the gun game? They have their game. It is the one that controls the bigger picture.

Consoles have aimbots these days too you know and other hacks such as wall hacks; enemy hitboxes, and more. Simple youtube reveals all.
The main difference is that in mmo shooters they typcially get banned undoing thosands of hours of work (or non work)

I think it's impossible for CCP to control aimbots/hacks on PC.
I think the Legion endgame will be made totally pointless by this fact - what corp/alliance is going to invest deeply in a high-stakes endgame when battles can be decided by who brings the best bots?
Also, given the nature of persistence in EVE, banning might affect individual players, but it will not roll back sov/timers etc.

Excuse me but last time I checked even console games like Call of Duty are riddled with aim bots. It's no different between the console and the PC. Besides, consoles are PCs as well only downsized.
