CCP Rogue said that we will not be left behind and that if Legion becomes a real product ( we all know it's here to replace dust and there's no better alternative at this point ) that they can do it.... or something like that.

1.Thats BS. By "support" they mean more Aurum packs and lame events
2. The alternative is Dust on PS4 |

Sure Dust 514 on the ps4 would be much better than what it's like right now on the ps3 but honestly how much more could they put into a ps4 version of Dust before they reach the limit of the ps4 hardware?
I don't know myself but some have said that the ps4 is equal to a low gaming PC right now.

All that tells me is the primary selling point of DUST that was "longevity" that even when it becomes Legion is still a project CCP may still abandon entirely....
The only product that CCP has made with any longevity is EVE online. That took them 10 years to get right and its most endearing traits are player driven.

they should have said it like this "guys we are encountering problems continuing dust 514 on ps3, we have started a side project called eve legion, its on pc, we will develop both at the same time, if everything goes well, we may pass legio onto the play 4, since we just cant simply pass dust to play 4 in an instant, but fear not all of your skills characters, etc will not be lost, so if you bough bpo or aurum or boosters, dont panic, you will have them forever, right now we need to see if legion is the way to go, the ps3 just cant handle our goals, so legion is prototype phase on pc, after we release and see if everything works, we may bring it to ps4, no promises on that front though, we know this may cause rage but, we need the pc to evolve dust into legion, and to shed the ps3 which is almost obsolete."

Fanfest seemed like a horrible time for CCP to show all this, they should've announced all this many months before fanfest.
