As today's keynote confirmed Dust characters will transfer over to Legion since the heart of Legion will be on PC (possibly PS4) let us kb/m users finally have rawinput.
You've put to much weight on the shoulders of the console generation for to long, let the PC crew move in and help finish out the rest of Dust514's lifespan and build the community that will become LEGION!!
In all seriousness this could only help Legion and Dust514
It could Increase Dust revenue with new or return kb/m players
It will begin to build the kb/m community
It Will get the controller users used to playing against kb/m.. (ultimately what's going to happen when/if a ps4 port comes to life)

Keyboards and mouse on ps3 are emulated controls but trying to match performance as close as possible will be nice.

Somewhat serious and somewhat joking here. But that would really be twisting the knife on us console players. You're getting the PC game soon, I think that's enough. |

It was damn near rawinput in Chromosome (emulated or not) they just need to return it to chromosome... |

Dust514 will remain the console game, in pretty much the same state it is now. I don't see any point in wasting dev time to change the KB/M for a PS3 only title when that time could be used to deliver us legion quicker onto the PC. |

Yeah I got pretty good with the mouse during chromosome (mouse+ds3)
But I was absolutely terrible with the the keyboard (specifically because sprind is binded to shift).
Some practice would be good.
Ishukone loyalist and Caldari Scout enthusiast.
Nerf the CR so I can justify using something else!

Im not too fond of having a corporate dbag like Rouge in charge and a clueless nub like Preatorean making design decisions, but overall im glad Dust is moving to PC.
I wont be using rl money in Legion if Rouge is in charge, the **** they pulled with delaying the announcement to make a little extra $$ is pretty much unforgivable without a real apology and promise to clean up their act.
If it gets dumbed down too much or greed affects the experience too much then I will be very sad.
Dust IS a very good concept, having a fear of death (thru the economy) does wonders for adreanaline levels and longevity.
There is a reason people get so angry, they are emotionally invested, I played BF4 for 2 weeks, Titanfall for a week and then I was back playing Dust, because dust has something none of those other fps have.
I have great hope for Legion, and im generally an optimist, but I hate being treated like a tool or an idiot, for now I really just dont feel like playing Dust, Mouse fix and framerate improvement might make me play it a bit again. |

We won't be getting raw input on the PS3 ever just because it's a technical impossibility with the way the PS3 and Unreal currently function.
Even Chromosome wasn't raw input, but it was better than what we have now. Just gotta live with it until we get a proper PC game.

Rumor has it legion is 2yrs out.. I don't think spending a few days on kb/m will hurt Legion development... |

I agree they should!
But even if they don't natively support controllers anything is possible on PC with the help of a program to bind your controller to key layouts! ;) |
