Not direct quotes, just from the stream a minute or two ago.
1. They are still working on Dust 514 such as balancing, improving PC and some other stuff.
2. There is a migration plan they don't want to leave mercs behind, you can keep your identity and name. Also when they know more technical stuff more stuff might be migrated.

Omg. Go read other threads or the digital spy article. Dust is dead. There will be no more updates for dust.
The game is dead. They cannot transfer anything to legion, it will be like stsrting new again.
Dust will not be updates, end of story. Its dead.
There is no migration. Sony owns the data 100%. If CCP tries anything they will be sued. |

All point 2 suggests is that we will get to keep . . .
1. Our merc names
2. Our character's faction
3. Our underlying merc class perhaps?
