Hey guys, i rectally learned about legion and how dust is dead...im really sad to see this go, i been a closed beta member back in replication build
Now i wan to ask you all about when you first started playing, your experience and your hopes and your ambition
I am Foley Jones, i been playing for about 2 years now
I got into the beta from PlayStation home, they a litte event going on were if you beat this slay min game before i think the first hundred people? then you get a beta code
i was like around the 10th according to the leaderbaord for the mini game. i wanted that beta code because i was hyped for dust I finally got it after hundreds of try at slay, i mastered it, now i can beat it any time whenever i gotten so good at it
i instantly went and redeemed the code and anxiously downloaded it, i couldn't wait, and i was not disappointed, the replication build drew me in, it was so fresh and unique that i wanted more and more of the game, so i stuck around
Then i met new people, people im still friends with to this day, tis why i love the community, because of the friendships that can be forged Then we made the transfer to the TQ server, were i first heard about eve, i was blown away at the capability on how we could be on the same server amongst two different gaming platforms, i was even drew in moooooore to dust, so i stayed
then i got into the role playing community, This is were i met my eve friends, i role played because i was a nerd plus it was kinda fun, so i made friends with theses eve players
I then later in time started fighting in PC battles, the heat, the intense combat, the epic leadership in those battles were breathtaking for any game, i felt comradely with the people by my side, i felt as if we were a actual team
something a game never gave me, so i stuck around
Those eve players i talked about from before? the role players? well i later got a computer, i never had one so i played dust so i can hang out with them, but never really play with them, and so on, but when i got a computer, i got eve and i was greeted with free stuff, a few paid subscriptions and someone whom i look up to as my mentor
Dust introduced em to eve, and im sure it did for many im glad i start playing eve so i can hang out with them more, im having a amazing time
But mainly the story about dust for me is, that it gave me a fresh experience to the FPS market, it gave me a community that i was proud to be apart of, one were i actually wanted to go on the forums, something i will never forget about
This is why i love DUST, This was my story

I found dust in pshome e3 2012, jumped through the hoops and waited two weeks for a beta code
waiting patiently for those 3 days of sweetness
staring up at the magnificence of a moving objective
always watching for a dropship to crash down and spill out 7 mercs
that first tank build
oh man, when 1.7 hit and I ran out and got a maddy with a turbo, flew across map, slammed into an enemy ADS as it was being dropped, and sent it soaring across map en flamb+¬. so funny the pilot sent me a lol
goodtimes goodtimes

I don't really know what to say, I've known and read about EVE for a while, was never interested in playing it but loved the lore. I heard about Dust, so I kept an eye on it. Eventually, it came out into open beta, I joined and loved it instantly. I joined a corp, some **** happened and it got stolen somehow, then I joined another, eventually became the only one to log on, finally I joined DarkStar, and found a corp with people I liked. Then I made my way to the forums, soon after that Uprising hit, a while after that I notice the Scout Registry thread, being a scout I joined up.
That, that was my real home in New Eden. That was the place I belonged in this game. Sure, we had our ups and downs, but most of us stayed, finally got our balance pass in 1.8 and we loved it for the most part.
Don't know what else to say.
I am part shovel, part man, full scout, and a little bit special.

News Flash:
CCP reassures Dust Bunnies that Dust Development will continue.
so they say. if they screw us over, im never turning to a CCP game again. I'll move to Destiny instead. which is a real shame, because this is my favorite fps game.

My cousin told me about this cool new game like halo on Ps3 so my bro downloaded it in early march. He played it but it was evident it wasn't his game. At first I wasn't that interested but as I learned more and more and listened to CCPs promises I was dragged in. I was part of the Caldari Prime event and to this day that was my best experience so far. As the community grew better and i got even more into the game I got a merc pack and joined Universal Allies Inc. Uprising came with many new things. I played PC, Domination and had lots of fun with the new guns an suits. The Cal logo duvolle tac ar trend came and the EoN. wars began. UAI was destroyed by EoN. and i joined GamersForChrist. they were great. I played with them until recently when SVER True Blood took me in....for less then a day. Shortly after UAI came back together due to a lot of hard work by me. Now we are slowly growing and like everyone have and uncertain future.
Back to BF1943, only 4 more ranks to go till at the top!
