I'll just leave this here.
CPMs knew about Legion back in October... During EVE Vegas (in October). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnNJeOsIVjE#t=35m40s
Rouge would do well in politics.

Don't focus on this. This is a distraction. EULAs and TOSs aren't legally binding contracts and if a player breaks their terms, they might be banned from the game. There will be no legal consequences. The NDAs that bind the CPM are legally binding. Would you risk any kind of legal action at all to tell us anything if you were a CPM member?
No. You wouldn't.
The CPM aren't responsible for this. If anything, I get the impression they used all their influence to try and stop this, when they say things like "CPM1 is going to be very stressful" and the fact that none of them (except one that I can't remember) are running for re-election.
I'll say it again. CPM aren't responsible for this. CCP is. Solely and completely. Don't let the CPM be your scapegoat and remember where the blame lies.

I mis-phrased it, I'll add an edit to the OP. The issue isn't the CPM, it's CCP who lied.

I've spoken to a couple of the CPMs now and what they're saying conflicts with a couple of things CCP have said specifically here: http://www.digitalspy.com.au/gaming/news/a568488/dust-514-sees-no-planned-updates-scraps-survival-mode-and-vita-app.html#~oDdJa8ngpeDDPC
