Just about to call SOE for a refund of my purchases in Dust 514 after the bait and snatch CCP pulled. Anyone that has already called SOE, can you tell me how to exactly get a full refund (Past 12 months) and the process of how they will revert the purchases. I live in Canada BTw, Thanks!

can you post your experience? I want to ask for a refund too but don't know how to progress. Some people say they got a refund, others didn't. I'm really confused right now on what to do.

Step 1: Be nice, polite, and gracious.
Step 2: Clearly and fully explain the situation, reference that this is a wide-ranging problem that others have called in about.
Step 3: Use threads, such as this one: https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=159252 to reference other PSNs who have successfully submitted tickets (look up their PSN IDs not DUST names).
You can also reference my PSN ID: Insidious_N
1-800-345-SONY. PRESS 2 THEN 2. GET YOUR REFUND. RE-POST THIS IN YOUR SIG.
Be polite, they want to refund you!

I'm curious, you honestly expect to be able to purchase item X, and still 12 months later be able to change your mind?
I could imagine the outrage if an employer 12 months after you worked for them saying, oh wait, you did a bad job, let us take back what we paid you the last year...
I understand people feel cheated, but come on, a year worth of refund seems kinda greedy imo.

Past 12 months? Not going to happen. Going back before the plans were begun to stop support for PS3, you have no grounds to request a refund.
Anything since they halted proper support for DUST and started on Legion is fair game. |
