No they had some obvious issues but they did not know. In all honesty after looking them in the eyes the devs ive spoken to at least completely agreed with this sentiment until LATER when rouge began defining the vision AS the executive producer (cause without him it was a little bit like a chicken with its head chopped off after the departure of the previous executive producer).
Finally...

C) I know this has essentially been asked but... if Dust is not going to be what Legion now is, are they at least going to polish/balance what is left so that it can at least become something "fun". Right now, it is fair to say that many people were playing on the hope it would eventually become something more - not because it is a decent game in it's own right.

There will be polish. They are open to more content. But the things lile market, and pve, etc..the consensus was why spend years on the ps3 developing with much more constrictive hardware/software when i can make it on pc and massively reduce the obstacles.

As far as what polish ?

Go watch when they answered my question.
