But alas, said reply was as terse and emotionless to loyal DUST 514 players, as was to be expected in keeping with the recent events that have unfolded. https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=159617&find=unread CCP Frame, I can appreciate your actions to an extent. I really can... given just cause. But did you actually read all of the activity? Did you see that there was really no 'trolling' on behalf of the OP? In all of this now-locked thread, there was a perfect opportunity to let a little something in to say to the DUST community "We're sorry about how this has come across to you, and we hope you understand.", but instead you opened this window to simply give six turds and just end it, without so much as bringing the simplest of arguments to support it. And that is exactly how much of the DUST community feels about what transpired yesterday. As I said in a reply in that Dev-stomped thread, I won't completely submit to it's true authenticity, but in it's heart there is a message that reflects the feelings of so many people across the world. To just tie it up in a bag and throw it out without so much as giving a real glimpse into your decision process truly speaks volumes about the relationship between DUST players and the development team. I would ask that the Dev teams just open up and be honest about this, and stop the speculating from so many parties so there is a real end to it all, but I am not holding my breath on it. In closing, I will say thank you for bringing DUST to the masses, even if it wasn't well-received by most. I thought it was a great product with massive amounts of potential and a dynamic engagement not found in today's FPS titles. But a dark cloud has cast a shadow on that feeling after yesterday, and it has made many feel used and lied to, to be frank. I hope there is a lesson to be learned on both sides of this. Thanks for entertaining some thoughts, folks.

Its just abuse of power in the fact that if they dont wanna hear what anyone says, they just simply lock it. IF they get it in their mind that "What we say is final word and screw what everyone else thinks", its gonna turn into a one sided lock/ban hammer fest.
