I just want to point this out.
All the QQ and "if you don't give me a respec, if you don't do this, if you don't do that, I'll quit Dust" attitudes...
Be careful what you wish for. Because when half the community whines that they'll leave if they don't get what they want, maybe CCP will leave Dust too. Oh wait, it already happened
Yes, I'm a hypocrite, I said I'd quit without a 1.8 respec. But the point I make is still valid.
Perhaps instead of training in Dust, I will go eat pizza. With pepperoni, and karma! - Master Splinter, TMNT

Really? I'm done with CCP unless they stay on the console market.
I'd say the people who pleasure CCP are the ones moving to Legion and who play Eve.

But it's called sequels and not having huge updates that are incompatible with the console. It's called marketing.

To be honest this is endemic to most forums just what people are demanding or complaining about changes. It is not usually the reason why the player base gets shafted.
That has to do with money and profit.
You do not have to be crazy to play here but we are willing to train you.

The word mmo gets thrown around to easily however, DCUO functioned just fine on the ps3. Sure its not Mmofps it had a huge scope for consoles which worked out relatively well.

NOT ONE of the posts are reflecting WHY we are pissed off. CCP ran multiple back to back events, million clone, 5x SP, 3x SP, Sidearm with omega boosters, Orgin event, BUY ORGIN PACKS NOW, all the time KNOWING they were canceling ALL development work on a game we had been putting up. With lag, glitches, bad coding, just to make as much money off of us before this announcement as possible. We have always been willing to wait, for hope.
And they crushed it yesterday, and didn't even say thank you for paying us to be in our beta.
It wasn't QQ'ing or pro to stomping that got us here, it was the CCP, which is why I will never support them again no matter what platform they go to.

How do you think I feel? I spent $20 last week for the triple SP event, bought 3 omega boosters and 5 regular 3-day boosters, thinking this game was here to stay.
I don't know. I just wanted to point this out to people, but you're right. It's not an excuse for CCP to abandon us.

As far as I am aware the console market is the single largest FPS market in the gaming industry but it looks like CCP does not have the resources or the capability to function in such a competitive environment.
I am not a pc gamer or have any interest in moving to Eve Legion but the PC is probably a better place for a small to medium developer to produce a niche FPS game on a small budget.
What I am unhappy with is how they treated the player base in the mean time.
You do not have to be crazy to play here but we are willing to train you.
