Yeah but no major content will be added, no NPE, no PVE, no PC 2.0, no FW 2.0, no real EVE integration, no Player Market, no new Maps, no new Game Modes and all that.
Major DUST fact.

Hmm, I'm not sure that many of us believe what CCP have to tell us now. If CCP Rouge told me the sky was blue, I'd have to look three or four times out of the window to confirm it. |

The vita app that we were *recently told they were still working on and totally isn't vaporware* has been scrapped, and 'improving' the experience rather than 'adding to' means we might get bugs and balances, we likely will not get new content.

They are getting rid of the Eve-Dust link, yes. They will be cutting us off from EvE online in 1 year. No more orbitals from eve players, no more Planetary conquest, no more Factional Warfare.
It's over
The game will go on though, it's not like they are canceling Dust 514.
They will keep the servers up and support the game with patches.
Meanwhile Legion will get updates for the next 10 years, or maybe they will get a rotten deal as well in a few years.

Who cares if they keep it switched on? It'll be gutted of players, hope and probably its eve link within a month.
What upsets people is the money, time and effort they spent supporting Dust has all been wasted, their progression may or may not carry over and CCP didn't think enough of them to consider if or how that might work.
Legion should have been Dust 2.0 and the keynote should have been telling us how they'll help us move our characters, community and progression across and how exciting it'll be.
