Everyone gets killed mostly by snipers and they can one hit kill so why not nerf them to make them weaker. |

Are you wearing a gallante starter fit with no shields? because i have proficiency 4 and a complex damage mod with a charge sniper and most standard dropsuits take 2 shots? |

somehting must have bumped you on the head or your a troll.
snipers got nerfed ages ago because heavies didnt like being sitting ducks and lsoeing thier hp quicker than thier logi could keep them alive. and the damge mod nerf hurt us more.
leave snipers alone and go back to being a sitting duck for us.

Snipers, if anything, are underpowered. They seem overpowered because CCP's early maps especially all take place in a giant quarry for some reason, meaning it's easy for snipers to control the field.
If snipers were way more powerful but had greatly limited vantages, that'd be an improvement and the way snipers ought to be. |

some things that will fix this is if the MCC also kills All infantry and auto destroys equipment that are on it.
also reducing the size of the redline and removing high ground in the redline zones or just remove the redline.
I don't even know why I bother.

Snipers are not OP. People are just butthurt about getting killed by an enemy they can't immediately see, and too stupid to pick up a free sniper rifle to shoot back.
Even redzone plinkers (completely different from actual snipers) aren't a big problem, unless you go near the enemy redzone, which there's no reason to do. There's rarely an objective near there, so if you ARE there, you're probably redlining the other team or spawn killing, and deserve a cheap death.
If you want snipers in the main common area, maybe you shouldn't have bitched about the perches that USED TO be there. |

My scout suits don't get one hit by snipers. You're doing something wrong or have really bad luck and get headshotted constantly.

The problems with snipers aren't they they're underpowered/overpowered. It's much more complicated than that.
They're nearly impossible to use without sitting still.

That is true with the Thales. Most of the others don't have the scope power to make it viable that far into the redzone. A Charge basically has a 2 power scope. That is the only sniper rifle other than the Thales worth ANYTHING in this game anymore.

If you can't prove it with multiple pictures than you're not getting 40+ kills regularly. Snipers used to be able to get that many kills, on rare occasions, but those days are long gone. Not only are snipers stupidly weak but they are also useless for leading your team to victory.
