I hate that CCP made some terrible PR decisions during this event that definitely diverted a lot of attention.

Looking forward to tweeting out the results of whoever won the event.

** Note: I just want to apologize to those of you have taken part in this competition and have been eagerly awaiting the for final verdicts. Some unforeseen circumstances came to light at work which resulted in a three day delay. Again IGÇÖm sorry but to that end; So after a long month of waiting, that time has come where we will see who the winners of this competition are!

IGÇÖd just like to say thank you to everyone who participated in submitting their images and to everyone who provided support for those taking part. The past week has been a very tough decision for our panel of judges in coming to a final decision who the top 3 winners should be!

• 1st - Ceadda Sai - Amarr Air Division Propaganda
The pallet of colours used not only tied in well with Amarrian golds and browns but it also included elements that it image was well aged like the most real life propaganda posters from wars past. Its unfortunate that the Amarrian Heavy Weapon or Dropships models hadn't been released for use but we let that pass for those reasons. We could see these been tossed out of Amarrian propaganda dropships as flyers on civilian settlements for its intended use.

• 2nd - RemingtonBeaver - Rail Tank Pinup Babe Poster
We felt that this image fitted in with old propaganda posters where pinup models would be used to heighten morale in the ranks or be painted upon the sides of planes to give hope which perfectly ties in with the Rail TanksGÇÖ recent demise that tanker pilots shouldn't give up on them yet! We also loved the cartoon feel; compared to many of the other entries posted.

• 3rd - Spirolito - Tech Guard Propaganda
Instantly we could tell the artist here knew what they were doing. It has all the signs of a well composed, structured and palleted image; very graphic designy and you could tell a fair amount of effort had gone into it! Loved the colours as if we could put on some old Anaglyph 3D glasses as the merc would jump out at us.
This one came into much debate with our judges and at one point was 50/50 to be in second place, but ultimately it came down to the one of the competitions rules that: GÇ£we would not be fully judging entries on artistic talents but more towards what message/s you could relay through your image.GÇ¥

So I thoroughly enjoyed seeing everyone's participation in this community event, it's just unfortunately many people either missed it or didn't even know it was going on. I had tried to bump the original thread daily to drum up more awareness of what we were up to and disappointed CCP gave us no blue tag which would have helped a ton and locked the original thread!
Nether mind hey!

Depending on what state the game is in next year; will we all be still here? or will everyone have migrated over to Legion? Who knows but what I know for definite, is that I would like to run this every in a yearly fashion from this point onwards. Hopefully by next year we will will have some better prizes, more ISK to throw out and some more involvement with the community as a whole and I look forward to seeing you post!
