One of the best ways for a company to gauge interest in its product is the number of people that buy it. You can say you hate something all you want, but if you buy it, at the end of the day, you support it. Being F2P, DUST is a bit different. We have no way of checking the status of microstransactions for DUST. I'll just say that if you really believe this is the wrong direction for DUST, for whatever reason, you should make that known with your wallet and not purchase anymore DUST stuff. I won't be buying anything else for DUST.
What we can see, however, is the number of users online on DUST at any given moment. Right now it's about average. It seems like people are upset, but not upset enough to not play. Show CCP that your time is worth more than the Keynote they gave us. Vote with your wallet by not spending, and vote with your time by not playing

It doesn't seem like it, considering there's ~4k PCU online right now, and that's about the average. Maybe a few hundred below, but not significant.

Not evryone knows yet. We know because we follow the forums/news for CCP. Only the hardcore know for now. |

It's only holding up now because a. the announcement is recent enough that anyone who's not a forum warrior hasn't heard about it, and b. most people who are really upset are going to burn off all of their assets before leaving.
I saw that rail rifle in the Legion gameplay demo. I have rail rifle Ops V. Character transfers to Legion kthnx.

And yeah, I expect to see a drastic fall in PCU over the next week. Anywhere from 20% to 33% wouldn't surprise me, and I would expect it to level out fairly low as well.
My plan is to play some this weekend with some friends, and then take a break. Later down the road if CCP presents a vision I can support, I'll think about getting back on board. If they don't, I'll call it quits. Most importantly, I will never spend another cent on DUST until I'm confident in it again.
