So I have played EVE since 2006. It is the only MMO I have played for so long and never unsubbed. In fact, I am up to 5 accounts now. I was so excited for DUST, that when I got a BETA invite I went out and bought a PS3 super slim. I also figured it is the best blu-ray player on the market and I ge tto play Gran Turismo again and play GTA V before it comes out in PC so there are other benefits.
I played DUST and have spent probably over $200 on this game in boosters (I don't buy much Aurum gear except to try things out before dumping sp into them)
So while I am excited to hear that DUST is coming to PC in the form of Legion, I am also disappointed that I have spent so much on a game that was so short lived. I really hope I can transfer my stuff and my progress over to the PC version. I have several gaming PCs so I would love to play DUST on PC instead (my kids keep the PS3 tied up with Pixar movies as well) but I don't like that I hear there is going to be a reset for Legion or nothing will transfer over.
I am waiting for further explanation form CCP on this matter. |

Its good to here this. People are gonna try to turn this into a pc masterrace battle but lots of people bought ps3s just for dust. CCP isnt just screwing their console base but also their most dedicated eve fans.

I really doubt that you'll be able to transfer anything of substance over. They hope to have a much larger playerbase than Dust ever managed. Do you really think they want to deter new players by letting Dust vets protostomp with their tens of millions SP and a billion in the bank? |

I have played EVE for five years and I too bought a ps3 specifically for Dust. A while I do also use it play blue rays and Netflix, Dust is literally the only game I play on it.
I wouldn't mind this move by CCP if I knew the past 8 months of dedication to dust was worth something. I know PC will give CCP more freedom and hopefully legion will become the game Dust was supposed to be.
It will still suck balls if the 26 mil sp I have worked for, and bought booster for, is now worthless.
Gun control is not about guns...it's about control.
The only way to ensure freedom is by having the means to defend it.

Well with EVE there are ways that noobs can contribute greatly and even defeat veteran players. Mostly through numbers. I am not sure that DUST can incorporate that in the future but maybe a way that the vets can keep their progress and still allow new players to be useful.
