the ONLY way i would consider CCP easing the blow of today event... is if they allow every dust player that has more than 2 million SP... to transfer their SP (or what ever they plan to call it) over.... so that console players have incentive to go get Legion so that they can enjoy the features that CCP promised would be in dust...
to be honest, i would consider this, becuase this means that the 2+years that i invested in the game, would not have gone to a complete waste. |

they pretty much confirmed otherwise. sorry bout our luck:
No, it's actually a matter of can we. There are technical questions and restrictions, policy questions (with Sony) and design questions (how do we convert experience when the progression system is different, items are different and ISK works in different ratios).
When we can answer the questions above, we'll share with you. Trust me when we say we want to let people carry over progress. But we just honestly don't know if we can do so yet. CCP Logibro // Distributor of Nanites // Patron Saint of Logistics

It seems legally all data from dust 514 will belong to sony.
CCP will not be legally allowed to transfer unless they want to be used it appears as it seems to be explained by Logi bro. |

Best thing CCP should do then, is pony up the $ to get this data... else you lose 1,000's of players that might be enticed to play Legion. I think that Sony lost a ton of $ on this deal and might even sue CCP for this bad busniess move. Maybe CCP and Sony can come to an agreement where Sony, CCP and the fans would win.
CCP will get a ton of backlash from gamer mags and websites.... and in the internet age... there is nothing worse for a video game company than bad publicity. CCP isnt infinity ward where they have millions of gamers worldwide and can afford bad publicity.... CCP has less than 500k fans... studios have gone under with less... |

While there won't be a 1:1 transfer, there will be something - however, what said something actually ends up being is not, and will not be known for some time. |

CCP and Sony had a nice agreement (probably based on a 10 year plan for dust which CCP said) on ps3 and probably ps4 in the future, why would Sony not punish them for bailing on their platform ?!
Sony will punish them for their betrayal and abandoning their ship. I think sony will, wouldn't you? |
