i played dust 514 1 year and 4 months and its a solid game i enjoy it to the fullest, i thought the game will be finish up on the ps4 but my question is instead you gonna put project legion on pc why cant you put it on the ps4??... because right now i believe the ps4 can mange it every well if you think about it look at the ps4 stats on this site http://www.ign.com/wikis/playstation-4/PlayStation_4_Hardware_Specs
as am saying honestly most dust players here think that this game has the potential to be on a console instead pc, you ccp workers should listen to the consumers opinion carefully because them invest their time and money in to this game, they had a vision this game will be even far superior than other fps, ccp don' t give up on console make this game project legion count on the ps4 not pc for console players sake that support you over the years. |

Look, i don't know what you want me to say.
I can argue PC gamers are much older on average, have more disposable income and are willing to use it.
I can argue the power of a PC is 4x that of the PS4 or Xbox One, so there's more potential more chance for detail etc..
I can tell you that PC games are more profitable vs. console games, or maybe that CCP already has a PC player base (EVE). I can say how their developers and programmers are PC oriented..
Lots of stuff to show why PC can result in a better outcome in the future, but console gamers aren't going to jump to PC. Former PC will go back, but the majority won't. CCP is just gonna hit up the old well and make some money off the old guys again. |

i get what your say but when they say project legion gonna go on the pc most dust players feel like ccp abandon the console but as am saying the ps4 as high memory ram and a decent AMD processor it reach to the pc level |

There to ******* dumb to realize there's a bigger market on ps4 then there is on pc . There is barely any games out for ps4 **** they would have drop this game legion(dust 2.0) in people hands on ps4 they would have been set. But instead they will fail with legion just like they failed with dust514. im really sad that this happened. Im off to a new game planet side 2 anyone? |

True, but the one question remains of how to prevent cheating. Some games you can make it so everything important server side. However, my understanding is that this is hard to do for shooters without significantly increasing the risk of lag. Cheating would be especially devastating. Due to the fact that this game is meant to have persistent territory control and be significantly linked with an MMO with paying customers who won't like losing their stuff to players in another game outside of their control, especially cheating players.
Plus consoles can hold back games with their standardized hardware, but they enforce a common standard. PCs will come in millions of combinations of age, hardware quality, and other factors. So CCP will have to spend more time making sure that Legion is capable of running most computers, rather than just bug hunting issues on a single hardware combination specific to a console. |
