I think if CCP could keep every characters SP, Aurum, and exclusive gear (quafe suits, black eagles, templar gear, etc...) for Legion on PC, or in the future on PS4 there would be a lot less negative backlash. We've invested a lot because we were promised support, pay us back with a chance to take our characters into the better version.
I want to follow you on your vision and my financial contributions show that, don't leave what so many of us have worked on in the dust. (sorry couldn't help but pun)

I mean platform?
Buy a PS4 for 400 bucks or buy a PC for 400 bucks. It makes no difference. What makes a difference is if we can keep our char in Legion or not.

Agreed.
I recognize that the move away from the PS3 was the only way forward for Dust's grand vision. The PS3 was just not powerful enough to do what we were all dreaming of.
Just don't make the last 11 months and my $150 worth of "I believe in you" a waste.
I saw that rail rifle in the Legion gameplay demo. I have rail rifle Ops V. Character transfers to Legion kthnx.

It's not the move per say, it's how they're doing it that erks me. We all knew it couldn't stay on the PS3 forever.

Source? They've been super vague, but I haven't heard anything definitive. The problem is that they haven't set much in stone. IF came up a lot.

Yeah, the idiots who think the rage is because Dust is leaving PS3 make me sad for humanity because that's just beyond dumb. Nobody expected 10 years of Dust on the PS3. Same for the "this is the same as a sequel to any other game, you can't keep your stuff then either." Those companies don't talk about 10 year cycles and persistent universes.
We expected 10 years of Dust, with persistent characters. Most of us also expected it to stay on consoles. That's the problem.

Maybe I'm just trying to be optimistic. Telling CCP to F off won't make them try any harder to find a way if they don't think we care. I've accepted it may not happen, but it would hurt the overall positive relationship I've had with the company.
