I've been here since February of last year when open beta first released. I had been following it since 2009 since it was first announced, and was excited to finally play it. Now, as a non PC gamer, I was extremely excited to be apart of the EVE universe, as I always wanted to play EVE online but couldn't because I don't have a capable gaming PC.
I told people about it. They came and stayed a while but left. They said it was boring and extremely unbalanced. I loved it though. I started my own corporation in March of 2013 and at its peak we had 93 members. By September we only had a couple of active players. Still, me and a couple of people held on. We wanted to be apart of the EVE universe, to matter.
We never managed to break into PC. Never really wanted to, as its just completely broken. But i still played and played. We joined an alliance and tryed some more. Alliance fell apart after a month and a half.
I told people..."just wait, we'll be accepting contracts from Eve pilots and taking over stations." people came and left and came and left.
And now here I am. Dust 514 is being rebranded as EVE:Legion and become PC exclusive. From the sound of it, character transfer is highly unlikely as it would unbalance Legion. I don't know about everyone here but I am not a PC gamer... At least for the time being. Now don't get me wrong, I still want to be apart of the EVE universe...but as of today Dust has no future. It never did really.
I have 20 million SP and spent a grand total of $40 dollars in this game, and I am glad I didn't spend more. From broken game mechanics to exploits, and unbalanced gameplay, I endured. But not anymore. I am biomassing all of my characters and uninstalling the game. Sign here if you are doing the same.
Hopefully we'll see each other in EVE:Legion in 2 years. :)

I'm just going to let my character collect dust. I'll probably uninstall, but I won't biomass just in case there ends up being a character transfer to Legion.

I'll biomass an alt to make myself feel better, but otherwise there's nothng really to gain so I'll let JD here sit in a sleeper pod and see if legion comes to PS4 with character carry over.
