For those of you who don't know what Star Citizen is, i'd advise you to check it out on www.robertsspaceindustries.com
I think this is a great move by CCP for their own sake, NOT for their PS3 playerbase (us) . They're moving onto the PC to allow an easier development with alot less 'technical limitations' and a much larger 'CCP' playerbase.. but I also think CCP are doing this to try and save themselves by putting up a fight as a sci-fi MMORPG 'FPS' . Star Citizen will have 'ship-to-ship' boarding FPS as well as planetside stuff, but the game is still in development. I personally believe both have great potential but I'm really looking forward to Star Citizen as RSI are MUCH more transparent (and I think CCP devs know this too) .. why?
RSI don't have any publishers to worry about! That's the beauty of games built on their community, which is not what CCP did with Dust today as we all know. As both a console and a PC gamer, I'm sad that i'll have to leave my PS3 behind.

Star Citizen doesn't release until 2016 I think. When it does it will likely blow all of CCP out of the water. Personally after today I hope it happens. |

Fully release late 2015 pretty much but yeah, around then. It's being released modually, however. Kind of like bits and pieces of it slowly added to the persistant universe
