CCP have legally covered their arse by not shutting down dust for the foreseeable future and running a skeleton crew to keep the pilot light on dust, so you will still be able to play dust with all your shiney proto gear etc but you will most likely do it alone.
Also at no point did they say that by purchasing boosters and aur that you get get exclusive access to any future fps titles that they market
And you should all feel dumb for thinking that

I doubt that they don't realocate dust devs to legion, considering the terrible job they did on dust :( (just stating facts). So I wouldn't worry too much about it.

The OP is correct, that is exactly why Dust 514 will live on until the PS3 is disconnected from the PSN. Its also why those of you hoping your progression in this game will mean something for Legion are likely to be **** out of luck. Eve: Legion I a completely separate game

Legally companies can do all sorts.
If Sony wanted to, they could shut down the entire PSN.
But who'd ever use another Sony product/service after that?

Then any FPS in the future they do, any game in the future will forever have a stain upon it from this event. Many companies that do things similar to this, never live it down, they loose respect and credibility, these things are not gained back easily. |
