I m not a Ceo but an old director of Maphia Clan, Maphia Clan have played Soldier of fortune 2,MAG and Dust now. We will find another fps and move our clan there, some will come to the other game and we will create another player base. Will that game be Legion? I dont think so, but who knows.

I played eve back in 2009 and new Eden was one of my favorite sci fi universes.
I saw this coming and asked for it, killing dust and starting over with a new team and apology.
I didn't anticipate them handling it this poorly and shaven us under the bus and completely ignoring dust at fanfest.
I expected transparency and an apology.
I already planned on quiting if the news today wasn't radical. while it was radical it's radical in the wrong way.
The whole situation leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I'm done pretty much.

I reccomend everyone call Sony and ask for refunds immediately and make a really big deal aboout it.
Ccp is gonna take a huge reputation hit for this.

Well I did buy a HD PVR for Dust specifically, but I'll just start recording stuff for legion.

However, I'm excited to see that they're changing up the NPE drastically for legion so that I won't have to make the tutorials I've been planning for Dust. It will be a lot easier to help new players with the new skill system and role skill tree design.

As the CEO of a hybrid EVE:DUST corp I will carry us on, into the black void for now as the time for legion draws near.
I will log in to New Eden everyday as I have been for years now.
I will fight hard with my guys on the frontlines to try to have them enjoy the battle.
I will guide them at every instance they need it.
I will ride this smoldering wreck into Caldari Prime and rise from it's ashes more bitter and more veteran than before.
I will be angry and betrayed and will possibly never let it go.

But I will have all I've ever wanted. PVE drones dynamic maps, possible epic brawls tiericide.


My deepest regret is that a large portion of my DUST guys will not follow us into the great beyond.
They came here for the free console game that took them outta reality for a while.

I am remaining in EVE / DUST514, but until I receive an apology for how things have been handled regarding the unveiling of LEGION, my guys are REVOLTING!

Trust me, this will be useful. I was looking for something to do since were not getting any market or serious overhaul to PC anymore. Viva la revolution!

I'm a CEO of the DUST corp representing a rather large EVE corp belonging to the most powerful alliance in that game.

Getting our members to play DUST has been an issue for a number of reasons. The biggest roadblock has been the platform it is on as most are PC gamers. Following closely behind has been a tangible benefit for DUST activity which benefits Sov-Holding alliances in EVE. We've had many people interested enough to try the game out, but only about a handful remain active in a community of around 500 EVE players.

The hook for those in our corp and alliance that play DUST has been that "some day" the work we have put in building up our SP and bankrolls will be used to our advantage in a much larger metagame. It was assumed, due to prior promises by CCP, that this was coming down the road. I know the word "endgame" is avoided in a sandbox game like EVE, but the desire to control or compete in a meaningful EVE-DUST link was the endgame which would have made all the work we put in playing a lobby shooter worthwhile.

Granted, I was skeptical that could be accomplished on the PS3. The announcement of Legion has me excited at the possibilities, but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth over the false pretenses my friends and I have been playing under.

Personally, unless I receive confirmation that I will be able to port my character or SP over to Legion, I will be playing a lot less DUST 514. I won't be buying those 30-day passive boosters or Omega implants for events.

Even if I do keep playing, It will be a much tougher sell to EVE players as the illusion DUST will someday really matter in EVE is gone.

The corp will move to Legion when the time comes and will continue its noble support where needed.

Till then DUST will be a hobby game and i'll still see you on the field and forums.

We are discussing this internally with CEO Kiabanor, but so far the reception has been overwhelmingly negative.

To be clear, no one is upset that Dust is moving to the PC. After all, its in the game's best interest to do so for long term survival.

However, CCP failed to elaborate on Dust's near term content cycle and what steps (if any) they are taking to address some of Dust's biggest shortcomings (broken matchmaking, broken PC, broken vehicle-AV balance ect...)

Without seeing concrete, tangible efforts to fix these issues, many of us in S.e.V.e.N. feel that CCP did a **** poor job of explaining how Dust will improve from now until Legion's release.

What incentive do we have to log on now? We don't even have confirmation that our characters will transfer to Legion, so why bother putting anymore time into them?

Basically inform my player base about what is happening thus far and wait for CCP to clarify their stance on what they can do about our investment in the game. I expect even less people to login now and no one will bother to buy any more packs/aur.

Like others, I was sold on the never having to be the new player again. I could have been sold on the new idea but it was so poorly executed and announced to us, I'm not sure many dust players will be willing to stick around. My perspective about CCP is on shaky ground at this point.

as CEO I plan to remind everyone how bad CCP is. Why not to trust them or to play there games. I will become an advocate to all things anti-CCP. A reason to logic to fight there illogical lies and purposely-misscommunicated information, such as the future of this game.

They lied to us, to our faces. It's unforgivable. The worst act a company to make to it's consumers.

Don't know about my corp, but speaking personally as a guide writer, I'm out. If I wanted to play PC games I already would be.

If Legion ever comes to PS4 and I can keep my character (the slim possibility of such being the only reason I am not going to biomass my chars) then I may come back. Otherwise CCP can suck it.
