Ok, lets put together a list of the important questions that we donGÇÖt yet know the answers to? I will add them to my list so we have them all in one place. If you see good questions elsewhere, repost them here for the consolidated list. If you find verified Answers, post them here as well.
Important Questions about the future of DUST 514 and Project Legion:
- Will DUST 514 characters be persistent? Will we be able to migrate our DUST 514 characters into Project Legion once it is into Open Bata or released?
- Will DUST 514 continue to be developed on the PS3. Will we still get new stuff?
- Will Project Legion be supported on MAC and Linex?

Gaelon Thrace wrote:CCP Logibro said in irc that they don't yet know if DUST to Legion character transfers will be possible. Legion is still just a prototype and there are a variety of factors to take into consideration including legal ones with Sony. Well, I guess I can comfort myself with the fact that Immortal Guides will continue to exist in Legion, as the CEO is my EVE character, Reneir Gaden, and it has been confirmed that Legion will share the Corp system with EVE.

jenza aranda wrote:1 "There is no ******* way in hell that im going to let any of the character in dust 514 not go over to legion, no ******* way" - CCP Rouge 2014 echoed by the CPM 2 "Although DUST 514 and Project Legion will function independently of one another, and are different projects on different development paths, DUST itself has a lot more shooting-in-the-face action to come. The team and I remain committed to continuing to improve the experience on PlayStation 3, while simultaneously making sure GÇ£Project LegionGÇ¥ becomes the experience weGÇÖve all dreamt of." From the dev blog 3 Its way to early to talk about other formats regarding mac and Linux 4 Its not impossible, but only after they have a game that is more inline with the dream. Something like the previous eve expansion system. Ideally dust right now needs constant updates which just isn't possible with the console restrictions. 5 yes 6 Its still far too early to say
CCP Rouge needs to record a YouTub video answering these questions to the best of his ability, explaining the future of DUST 514 on PS3, and finally he needs to apologize to the DUST 514 community for how this was handled.
For an example of what a sincere apology looks like he should watch this video.
We need to hear it form the mouth of CCP Rouge.

Rorian Gray wrote:What's your source of info on the second question, regarding future PS3 dev goals? I haven't seen them confirm anything about a player market post-fanfest. It canGÇÖt remember now whether it was something Logibro commented on, or a comment by a CCP staff on one of the streams. I should have included the source info with it when I first wrote it. I canGÇÖt remember now. If I turn up the info again I will add a link. Sorry for the laps.
