I'm no DNS apologist but this has nothing to do with DNS. This has to do with CCP having a culture of making promises that they are unable or unwilling to keep. That is to say they are ******* lying con men.

LMAO, trying to think you were right about us destroying this game. It was already trash before we took over. Besides, we only had access to MH, we would've taken more (at least I would), much like Goon.

Some of the bigger corps in DNS bear some responsibility.
Allow me to explain in a manner everyone can understand:
Happy player base ------> player retention ------>Players spend $$$$ --------> $$$$ used to create more content -----> More content allows the playerbase to continue to expand -------->Bigger player base means more games at all times ----------> More games at all times means balanced, fun matches ---------> Balanced fun matches = Happy player base. (then the cycle restarts)
Now lets look at how it has been working with the Nyain San train pub stomp:
NS stomps pubs using Planetary funding ------> player base discouraged ------->discouraged player base spends less -------> Less spending means less content ------> less content means a stagnated playerbase with low retention and high turnover ------> Low retention and high turnover means less active players ------> Less active players means less games --------> Less games means fewer, less balanced games -----> few matches with unbalanced games = discouraged playerbase who isn't spending.
See how that works? They make people quit the game. The people who quit dont spend. CCP comes in below their revenue projections, and then they say "We need another way to monetize an FPS. This isnt working, lets start over".
PC gamers are generally more dedicated and more patient. This is because PC F2P FPS games are plagued by hack/cheat users and other exploiters. PC gamers acept that there will be some days of the month when the game is unplayable due to exploiters.
Console gamers are not like that. They are used to being delivered a balanced product. The console market is also saturated. So when NS rolls into their game and farms them, they find another game to play.
TL;DR: The OP is right. CCP might be dishonorable with their intentions, but a group of people determined to become kings of an empty game drastically helped things along to this conclusion. |

hah! the only thing that killed this game was trying to serve it up to console gamers to gain a new market, but it was like serving a toddler caviar, the console kiddies spat it out cause its too hard and ccp didn't rock you to bed each night after all the bugmares, now that the concept has been beta tested, its going where it belongs, can't wait to see it reinvented on the PC, laters kiddies, enjoy 10 years worth of stale COD expansions on the same hardware.

a common reaction of people who feel guilty is to lash out with insults and justifications.... an example would be something like "she was dressed like she wanted it" or "she's a wh*re! she sleeps with everyone!"
it's ok I'm sure youre not anywhere near as bad of a person as you come off to be...
